The accessibility of the yacht is impressive, with a highlight being the hi-lo platform that transforms into steps leading down into the water. The cockpit area can be turned into a large sunbathing area or a seating area around a table. 

There is a small flybridge area, a feature found to be particularly interesting and clever given the sports cruiser style of the boat. There is a rail underneath for safety and a side access door from behind the helm. The foredeck features sunbathing cushions and lift-up sections for forward seating.

Inside the yacht, there is an aft-galley layout with a large lifting window and doors that open up to create a spacious, open area. The typical Prestige features are praised, such as the pale woods and casual ambience. The galley features a fridge, a freezer above it, cooking facilities, and a dishwasher, along with ample storage.

Moving to the helm, there is an all-glass cockpit and controls for the Cummins engines, which provide for a joystick control that allows easy maneuvering of the boat. The boat also features an opening roof, providing an open-air feeling while still being sheltered.

There are wide steps leading down to the lower deck, and this houses three cabins. Thre is a cabin with two single beds, a day heads that doubles as an ensuite to the VIP cabin, and a master cabin with private access. There is a wonderful private ensuite in the master cabin, with a clever design that allows one to step out of the shower straight into a walk-in closet.

The engine access area is also a tender garage. This is found to be a bit of a compromise as one has to use a ladder system to access the pair of Cummins 600 horsepower engines, but the practicality of being able to store a tender inside the boat is appreciated.  The engines give about 29 knots flat out, and a range of about 270 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 23 knots.

Overall, Nick finds the Prestige 590 S a very interesting boat, appreciating the innovative features and the blend of sporty and luxury elements.
