Production of the first generation Sanlorenzo SL62 started in 1994 and ran for over 3 years. The second and final generation Sanlorenzo 62 went into production in 2007.
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 25 knots via its twin 1,136hp Caterpillar C18 ACERT E02 HP - U.S. EPA Tier 3 and IMO Tier II engines.
