Absolute Yachts
Absolute, the Italian yacht builder, takes pride in its commitment to quality, experience, and innovation. The shipyard specializes in producing two distinct ranges of flybridge yachts, complemented by an array of sports yacht models.
Formed in 2002, Absolute’s first model was a 25ft sports boat launched in 2003 and since then the yacht builder has been able to adapt, follow, and lead motorboat design, as is demonstrated by the range of Absolute yachts for sale.
Absolute Yachts partnered with Volvo during the engine manufacturer’s development of the revolutionary IPS pod drive system, enabling Absolute to produce triple and even quadruple IPS installations.
The biggest shift in Absolute thinking saw the yard move from a sports yacht focus to a flybridge cruising culture. The Absolute Flybridge model range follows the current fashion for sharp lines and lots of glass, while the Navetta range is more progressive, mixing trawler yacht style with something altogether more modern, showing off Absolute’s enthusiasm for yacht building evolution.
As well as forward-thinking design, Absolute should also be applauded for practical, owner-friendly thinking, such as making regularly serviced items easy to access without having to dismantle most of the boat - a huge plus for anyone buying a yacht.
Absolute’s in-house design team led by Sergio Maggi has the flexibility and speed to move with consumer needs and trends, allowing Absolute to be one of the trendsetters in motorboat design, as shown by the Absolute Navetta range. The boats are also made with an internal modular system that creates a rigid and solid structure within the boat while streamlining the manufacturing process.
