Replacing the cancelled Southampton Boat Show, BOATS2020 is hosted by the same organisers on the same dates, and will be a one-off, not-for-profit event that is COVID secure and showcases a superb fleet of almost 100 yachts.
Running from 11 to 20 September at Mayflower Park in Southampton, BOATS2020 is the prime opportunity for yacht buyers in the market for a new yacht to peruse a great variety of vessels all in one place.
The yachting event will replace the original Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS 2020), which was cancelled this year as a result of COVID-19. BOATS2020 will be held on a smaller scale, and will adhere to all current government guidelines to ensure a secure and safe environment for all show-goers and exhibitors.
The event will showcase a stand-out selection of the latest models and a number of debuts from 30 esteemed yacht builders including Sunseeker, Princess Yachts, Cranchi, Fairline Yachts and many more. Alongside the on-the-water display, around 60 exhibitors will also be in attendance, ensuring attendees are able to access information and advice as needed.
This not-for-profit event will offer boat buyers and the leisure marine industry a chance to come together with the reassurance that the event is within government guidelines.

The event will feature a strong presence from British manufacturers. Sunseeker takes pride of place with the largest yacht on display at the show; the 21.21m (69.6’) Manhattan 68. With its four-cabin design, innovative layout and ambient interiors, the Manhattan 68 is also one of the newest yachts in attendance and is sure to be one of the highlights on the docks.
Alongside the Sunseeker line-up, Fairline is debuting its brand new, hotly-anticipated F//LINE 33, and its largest model to date- the 21.12m Squadron 68.
Princess Yachts is set to bring a fleet of eight yachts, including its eye-catching Y85 flybridge yacht. There will be tours available, and plenty of dealers and brokers on hand to provide assistance for those in the market to buy a yacht.
Visitors will see a super range of sailing and power boats, and the event format with opportunities to book appointments on boats will create a day of quality viewing for visitors.

Safety measures will focus on four cornerstones; social distancing, cleaning and hygiene, protect and detect and clear communications.
Show opening times are from 10.00am to 6.00pm from Friday 11 September to Sunday 20 September. Tickets are in limited supply and cost £12.50. They are available from the Southampton Boat Show website.
Over 4,000 parking spaces are available just five minutes walk from the Show, which is also just a few minutes walk from Southampton’s main bus station and Southampton Central train station.
The event has been organised by not-for-profit organisation British Marine in conjunction with Southampton City Council.
