Southampton Boat Show 2021

10th - 19th September 2021   -   Mayflower Park, Southampton, UK

The UK’s biggest boat show will return in 2021, mixing fun events for the entire family with an invaluable glimpse into the small yacht market for potential buyers.

Despite trying and failing to hold a socially distanced variant during the COVID-19 pandemic, Southampton International Boat Show will return to Mayflower Park with the anticipated dates of 10th–19th September 2021.

The 52nd iteration will once again make use of one of Europe’s largest purpose-built marinas, 2km (6,500ft) in length and with berths for 300 vessels. It’s a family-orientated event that mixes serious business with jovial, kid-friendly attractions.

Those looking to buy a yacht can expect extensive insight into the sub-30m (98.5ft) market. The event has showcased up to 600 marine brands in the past, with exhibitors including high-profile shipyards like Princess, Cranchi, Sealine and Azimut.

Everything from flybridge yachts available to purchase to tenders will be out on display. Water toys like paddleboards and dinghies will be for sale, as well. Insightful seminars will be held over the course of the ten-day span.

Plus, the event’s self-professed “signature attraction” of Try a Boat is expected to make a comeback, letting guests get out on the open water in sailboats or more exhilarating RIBs.

Guests can use RIBs as part of the signature Try a Boat attraction.

The event has showcased up to 600 marine brands in the past, with exhibitors including high-profile shipyards like Princess, Cranchi, Sealine and Azimut.

Other attractions will include live music, a dive tank, kayaking and a flyboard display. There’s also the Discovery Deck, which lets visitors get up close and personal with new products and even get some very handy marine careers advice.

Tickets to the Boat Show will be available from southamptonboatshow.com. If you want to buy a yacht of your own, it’s strongly recommended you get a broker, who can often give you invaluable advice on what to pick and look out for.
