Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 838 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2009 with the keel laid under the project name 'Columbus 177'. Launched in June 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2011.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the 53.7m ARMADA has a grey hull, accented with a red boot stripe. The yacht features semi-circle shaped glass on the upper deck, which integrates well into the overall structure. The white superstructure is complemented by a flared bulbous bow.

Designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro-Tech, the yacht's exterior prioritizes large deck areas for guest enjoyment. The sundeck includes a Jacuzzi, offering a practical space for relaxation. The yacht's volume of 838 GT ensures ample space across all decks. The design accommodates up to 12 guests and 13 crew members, emphasizing both comfort and safety. With ABS-class approval, the ARMADA is built for reliable cruising.

The exterior also includes a substantial aft deck leading into an open salon, providing unobstructed views. The yacht's nearly 33-foot beam adds to its spaciousness, allowing for various outdoor activities. The aft deck is accessible from the skylounge, which is designed for entertainment. A large cinema screen, bar, and game table enhance the functionality of this space, which opens out to an aft deck ideal for dining or sunbathing.

On the practical side, the yacht includes a large garage for a tender and two Jet Skis, accessible from the swim platform.

Interior Design

The interior design of the ARMADA yacht, crafted by Tommaso Spadolini, ncorporates a balanced mix of dark and light woods, marble, and carefully placed furniture that defines distinct areas for various activities. The main salon is open and unobstructed, with white sofas and tables featuring leather and stainless-steel accents. The use of high-quality Italian materials, such as marble and wood, is evident throughout the space.

The skylounge is designed for entertainment, equipped with a large cinema screen that descends from the ceiling, a bar, a game table, and a comfortable lounging area. This room opens to a spacious aft deck, enhancing the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. The décor is consistently understated, with an emphasis on symmetry and clean lines.

Natural lighting is maximized through well-sized portholes, and the spaces are defined by intelligently placed furniture that caters to activities such as cocktail hours, lounging, TV viewing, or dining. Textured leather finishes on cabinet doors and Venetian blinds with stitched leather slats add to the refined detailing. The interior layout is logical and spacious, benefiting from the yacht's nearly 33-foot beam.

The yacht Armada offers accommodations for up to 12 guests. It features six staterooms, including a full-beam owner's suite that comes with a private balcony, providing a secluded and spacious retreat. This suite includes an office/library with a view and two bathrooms equipped with Jacuzzi tubs, adorned with white Carrara marble.

On the lower deck, four guest suites are available. The decor throughout these cabins includes textured-leather finishes and Venetian blinds with stitched leather slats.
