Palumbo SuperYachts has announced the inaugural launch of the Columbus Atlantique 43M superyacht. Crafted at the Palumbo Superyachts facility in Ancona, Italy, NIGHT FURY II represents the first vessel in its series.
Originally announced in 2021, the sale of the first hull was facilitated by Renaud Canviet of Ocean Drive, with the vessel combining a plethora of stylistic elements and practical features tailored for ocean living.
Hot Lab crafted NIGHT FURY II’s interior and exterior designs — adhering to the "Architecture for Voyagers" philosophy — alongside Columbus Yachts which carried out the naval architecture.
"The external lines are reminiscent of a shell, resembling a smooth and artfully carved stone: no sharp edges, no sudden angle change. Just a single shape, soft and aggressive at the same time, a fairly organic blend of a motor yacht and a classic sailing hull. The affinity with a sailing yacht's fluid lines lends this motor yacht a natural elegance."

Customized extensively to meet the owner's specifications, the superyacht has been designed with integrated indoor and outdoor spaces. The main salon features two distinct relaxation areas, one with C-shaped seating and the other with a home cinema and lounge space.
In terms of accommodation, the Columbus Atlantique 43M can house up to 10 guests across its five staterooms, with a full-beam master suite on the main deck, offering a private aft terrace, king-sized bed, dressing room, and an ensuite bathroom. The guest staterooms comprise four VIP suites on the lower deck (two doubles and two twins), each boasting private ensuite facilities.
The superyacht's expansive outdoor areas include a swimming pool aft, complemented by nearby C-shaped seating, and a swim platform positioned just 50cm (1.6ft) above the waterline. Moreover, two folding side wings enhance the connection with nature, while the aft deck extends to form a spacious beach deck, complete with a lounge area. Ascending a short staircase reveals two additional seating zones, including alfresco dining space for up to 12 guests.
For propulsion, NIGHT FURY II has been fitted with twin Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines, delivering a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
