This enclosed-deck version follows the success of the SY62 3-Deck Open, offering the same award-winning design while enhancing onboard comfort in high-temperature and high-UV environments.
Unveiled at the shipyard in Fano, Italy, the SY62 3-Deck Closed arrives alongside the seventh unit of the Open model, marking a strong start to 2025 for Silent Yachts. Under new ownership since March 2024, the company has been revitalised with ambitious plans to launch 10 yachts this year—including nine SY62 models and the upcoming flagship Silent 80 Flybridge

The incredible work we have put in to build the brand back into serious business health has paid off, and the arrival of the new Closed version of the SY62 3-Deck is a really proud moment for us."

CEO Fabrizio Iarrera described the launch as a proud milestone: “The incredible work we have put in to build the brand back into serious business health has paid off. This new addition highlights the quality and innovation of our range, which stand as the world’s most advanced solar-powered serious cruising catamarans.”
The Closed version of the motor yacht maintains the same solar-powered, silent cruising performance that defines the Silent Yachts fleet. Like its Open sibling—which earned the 'Most Efficient Yacht' title at the 2024 World Yachts Trophies in Cannes—the new model delivers zero-emissions travel, fume-free operation, and minimal noise.

The catamaran distinguishes itself with an enclosed upper deck, laid out as a private owner’s studio apartment. This space features panoramic views, a covered aft deck accessible via glass sliding doors, and the flexibility to be shared with guests or reserved entirely for the owner. The layout of the yacht creates a tranquil, elevated retreat that remains protected from the sun, ideal for extended cruising in tropical waters.

Silent Yachts has been at the forefront of solar-powered yacht design since launching its first fully self-sufficient catamaran in 2009. Founded by Heike and Michael Köhler, the company has evolved into a leader in sustainable cruising, with each new model pushing the boundaries of what solar propulsion can offer.
With the SY62 3-Deck Closed now on the water, Silent Yachts continues to strengthen its position as a go-to builder for eco-conscious yacht owners seeking advanced engineering, refined comfort, and global cruising capability—without sacrificing environmental responsibility.
