Aiata Wayfinder 38 to Make Show Premiere at 2025 PIBS with New Regional Partner

The Aiata Wayfinder 38 is set to make its show debut at this year’s Palma International Boat Show (PIBS), launching alongside a new partnership with Mallorca Marine Group.

Presented in its Suntop version, this will be the first time the Aiata model has been shown in the water, as the shipyard looks to strengthen its footprint in the Mediterranean market.

The Wayfinder 38: A Flexible Concept for Versatile Boating

The Suntop version being shown at PIBS 2025 prioritises outdoor living, with an open and sociable layout, but the deck and superstructure components can be swapped out in as little as two days. The design caters to changing lifestyles or seasonal preferences, giving owners long-term flexibility without having to invest in a new vessel.

Aiata's modular approach to boat design is truly groundbreaking. The ability to reconfigure the Wayfinder 38 from a Suntop to a Cabin or Fishing version in just two days offers our clients unprecedented versatility."

The 38-footer is powered by twin outboard engines and features a wide beam, generous cockpit space, and high-quality materials throughout. Aiata’s build philosophy combines functionality with sharp, Scandinavian-inspired lines, resulting in a boat that balances performance, comfort and aesthetics.

Designed by Jarkko Jämsén, the Wayfinder 38 is built around a modular design that allows owners to switch between three configurations - Suntop, Cabin and Fishing - with minimal downtime. This adaptable approach means the same boat can evolve from a weekend cruiser to a sportfishing platform or an enclosed cabin vessel, depending on how the owner wishes to use it.

YachtBuyer explored this versatility firsthand in a full walk-through review of the Aiata Wayfinder 38 Cabin, offering insight into how the design performs in more enclosed cruising scenarios. Check it out below:

New Partnership with Mallorca Marine Group

The partnership is designed to give Aiata stronger support across the Mediterranean and ensure new clients benefit from local expertise and after-sales care. For Mallorca Marine Group, Aiata’s fast, modular approach introduces a fresh concept to the regional market.
