Originally scheduled to appear at this month's Singapore Yachting Festival, the M8 will now skip the event after being acquired by a prominent business figure.
The Appeal of the Prestige M8
Interiors by Valentina Militerno De Romedis feature flexible saloon layouts with asymmetrical furniture and a flybridge accessed from within the yacht. Designed as a ‘home-away-from-home’, the M8 focuses on wellbeing and easy living.

The expansive 29ft beam of the catamaran offers nearly 3,000 square feet of usable space. This design provides a sense of openness and flexibility, allowing owners to customize the layout to their preferences. The yacht features a 344-square-foot cockpit and a 538-square-foot flybridge, which includes a full helm station, a dining area for eight, and modular furniture arrangements.

Exploring the M-Line: Prestige M7 and M48
The Prestige M7, measuring 17.84 metres with a beam of 7.56 metres, sits between the M8 and M48. Designed by Garroni Design with naval architecture by Marc Lombard, it accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins. Powered by twin Volvo D8-550 engines, it reaches 22 knots and offers strong fuel efficiency with a range of around 1,330 nautical miles at 8 knots.

The Prestige M48, the first model in the M-Line, is a more compact 14.79-metre yacht with a 6-metre beam. It typically offers three cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite. Twin Volvo D4-320 engines deliver a cruising speed of around 15 knots and a top speed of 20 knots. Stability and efficient cruising are key features across the M-Line, offering owners a relaxed and spacious experience on the water.

While the M8’s early departure from the 2025 Singapore Yachting Festival is no doubt a loss for show visitors, it speaks volumes about the model’s reception. As Prestige continues to make inroads in Asia, models like the M8 show that multihull motor yachts are moving firmly into the mainstream at the top end of the market.
