Silent 62 3-Deck
Silent Yachts pioneered the production of solar-powered yachts with the launch of the Silent 64 in 2016, marking the beginning of a new era in sustainable yachting. The Silent 64 became the first serial-production solar-powered bluewater catamaran to cross the Atlantic, making the journey from Cape Verde to Barbados in just 16 days with an average speed of 6 knots. Following its success, the Silent 55 made its world debut at Cannes in 2018. At the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, Silent Yachts will showcase the Silent 62 3-Deck.
The Silent 62 3-Deck features a third deck replacing the standard upper deck, with customization options including an open flybridge, an enclosed sky lounge, or an enclosed master suite. The flybridge version, with a retractable roof, offers a dining area, small lounge, and helm station. An open deck version provides the benefits of larger catamarans in the compact dimensions of the 60 Series, while the enclosed options, the 62 Closed, offer additional indoor space, with choices between a sky lounge or an exclusive owner’s suite.
Cats at Cannes
For power catamaran buyers, the Cannes Yachting Festival offers some standout options, including the Leopard 40, the European Powerboat of the Year 2024. The latest addition to the Leopard power range, this catamaran features a spacious flybridge, multiple outdoor spaces, and three cabins with generous island beds. With a cruising speed of 17 knots and a top speed exceeding 22 knots, the Leopard 40PC delivers a comfortable, efficient, and high-performance experience.
Bluegame, part of the Ferretti Group, returns to Cannes with the BGM75, the first model in its BGM range. Breaking away from the traditional 'boxy' catamaran design, the BGM75 features a reduced width, creating a beam-to-length ratio more akin to a monohull. After her global debut at Cannes in 2023, the BGM75 is back to impress once again this year.
The VISIONF 82, slightly exceeding our 24-meter distinction at 24.7 meters, will make an appearance at Cannes, showcasing cutting-edge advancements within the multihull sector. This Category A-designed catamaran features an expansive 9.9m beam and is powered by Volvo Penta D13 IPS1050 engines, offering a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots. Accommodating eight guests and two crew members, the VISIONF 82 boasts a spacious 55-square-meter salon with a versatile layout.
