Rossinavi launches SEAWOLF X hybrid-electric catamaran

Innovative design meets sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions for eco-conscious cruising.

Rossinavi has announced the launch of their latest project, SEAWOLF X. The hybrid-electric catamaran's exterior is by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design, while New York-based Meyer Davis Studio designed the interiors.

The yacht carries the BluE label, Rossinavi’s sustainable philosophy, and combines innovative design with environmentally friendly solutions.

SEAWOLF X's main technical features include three performance scenarios: On one-day trips, the catamaran cruises in full electric mode for 100% of the time, on multi-day trips, it can cruise in electric mode for 90% of the time, and during transatlantic trips, it cruises 80% of the time in electric mode.

Hibernation mode minimizes consumption when moored, allowing the vessel to supply enough energy to charge a villa. The yacht has two diesel generators for quick battery recharging and can recharge at shore power in five hours.

Rossinavi developed an onboard artificial intelligence system, Rossinavi AI, to enhance comfort and maximize the yacht's green potential. This AI system continuously analyzes vessel operations, learns from observation, and predicts guests' needs. It advises the crew on low-impact behaviors and monitors the battery pack to ensure longevity, maintaining it in the optimal range of 20 to 80%.

Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design approached the project with a fresh perspective, leading to a sleek silhouette reminiscent of a sports car. Outdoor living spans three areas: a cockpit centered around a pool, an expansive sundeck with sunbathing and living spaces, and a bow area with a hidden pool and convertible home theater. Solar panels are integrated into the design, and lightweight solutions enhance hull efficiency.

This yacht showcases remarkable technological innovations in both power management and propulsion technologies, marking the beginning of a new chapter in next-generation vessels."

In 2022, Rossinavi shifted its innovation focus to environmental impact with the BluE philosophy, embodied in hybrid-electric yachts powered by batteries and solar panels. Inspired by phytoplankton's ability to harness sunlight, BluE yachts operate in electric mode for day trips and 80% of transatlantic voyages, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions.
