Sunreef specializes in crafting large and opulent catamarans, standing out as a pioneering builder in multihull design. Over the past two decades, the company has achieved notable milestones, including the introduction of the first flybridge on a luxury catamaran, the first double-deck power cat with oceanic range, and the first multihull superyacht constructed with carbon fiber.
Although a French-owned company, Sunreef is based in Gdansk, Poland, boasting a well-equipped production facility at the heart of the old Gdansk Shipyard, a historically significant location associated with the Solidarity movement. The shipyard plans to expand with a new purpose-built 10-acre facility in Gdansk.
Sunreef offers a diverse range of new and used yachts for sale, and it can build yachts using various materials, including high-tech composites and aluminum. While full custom builds are accommodated, the shipyard primarily operates as a semi-custom platform builder, incorporating custom deck, superstructure, and interior elements into standard hull designs. Sunreef provides catamarans and trimarans designed for both power and sail.
For buyers seeking a wide array of choices, Sunreef's motor yacht range presents ten different platforms ranging from 12m (40ft) to 64m (210ft). These models cater to various leisure uses such as charter yachts, party boats, sportfishers, floating villas, and more. The company introduces at least two new models to the range annually.
Beyond new builds, Sunreef extends its services to yacht charter, yacht management, and yacht brokerage.
