Butterfly is a multi-award winning 38m open yacht delivered by Danish Yachts in 2011. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Espen Oeino, while Art Line is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing carbon/epoxy hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 7.5m beam and a 1.45m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 251 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in March 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Accommodation
Butterfly offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 double cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M93L) 3,440hp engines, motor yacht Butterfly is capable of reaching a top speed of 47 knots, and comfortably cruises at 40 knots. With her 20,692 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 900 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
