Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.09m beam and a 1.88m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 120 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the yacht Day One has a straightforward yet distinctive aesthetic. Her light grey hull is accentuated by a unique orange boot stripe, providing a subtle contrast to the white superstructure. The yacht features an almost straight bow with a slight rake, contributing to its clean lines and purposeful stance. Aft, Day One is equipped with a functional swim platform and a tender garage, enhancing its practicality for water activities.
Access to the aft deck from the main saloon reveals an alfresco dining area and a full-size bar, encouraging outdoor enjoyment. The sun deck is accessible via a large, automatic sliding door or two watertight doors. This area includes lounge chairs at the stern, large sun pads, and a U-shaped seating area at the bow, providing various options for relaxation. The spacious beach club at the aft is equipped with a swim platform, bar, lounge area, and washroom, accessed through the lazarette.
Interior Design
The interior design of Day One has a contemporary aesthetic, using a tonal color palette that is accented with bright colors and modern art. The saloon on the main deck is fitted with full-height windows, which allow abundant natural light to enhance the interior space. This area is equipped with a comfortable seating arrangement, an entertainment area, and a dining space, providing a versatile environment for relaxation and socializing. The aft deck, accessible from the main saloon, features an alfresco dining area and a full-size bar, integrating indoor and outdoor living.
The upper deck saloon also benefits from full-height windows and includes a second day head, an office, and an independent audio/visual system, catering to both leisure and work while on board.
The helm station is comprehensive, featuring a five-screen integrated system along with port and starboard wing stations, ensuring precise navigation and control.
Accommodation
The yacht Day One accommodates up to eight guests across four well-appointed staterooms. The main deck houses the full-beam owner’s stateroom, providing a spacious and private retreat for the owner. On the lower deck, guests can choose from a VIP stateroom, a queen stateroom, and a twin stateroom, which offers flexibility by converting into a queen if needed.
For efficient service and operations, Day One also includes accommodation for a crew of four, ensuring a comfortable and smooth voyage for all on board.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (10V2000M96L) 1,600hp engines, motor yacht Day One is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 18,927 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
