Design & Construction

Designed around a planing wood hull and superstructure she features a 6m beam and a 1.52m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 199 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The exterior design of III Amigos is characterized by its clean and functional aesthetic. The yacht features a raked bow, contributing to its sleek profile and enhancing its performance in various sea conditions. The deck is constructed from teak, providing durability and a refined appearance.

The hull and superstructure are both painted white, offering a uniform and uncluttered look. The black boot top and below-the-waterline colors create a stark contrast with the white, emphasizing the yacht's lines and proportions. This choice of colors and materials not only ensures visual appeal but also signifies a focus on practicality and longevity in marine environments.

III Amigos is equipped with a number of features aimed at sport-fishing enthusiasts. The cockpit includes bait freezers, a livewell, custom tackle stowage, and a Bluewater Fighting Chair. There are also in-deck fittings for an on-deck livewell and a sea chest in the lazarette with an air lock capability. Additional amenities include three Eskimo ice chippers, under-gunwale stowage, and a freezer under the mezzanine seating.

Interior Design

The interior design of III Amigos is the work of Patrick Knowles Designs and fabricated by Metrica of Germany. The salon features lounge seating aft, providing a comfortable space for relaxation. Forward of the salon, the galley and dining area are efficiently laid out. The galley’s countertop also serves as a bar area, equipped with two stools, offering both functionality and a casual dining option.

The salon includes a U-shaped settee and a coffee table to starboard, complemented by two lounge chairs to port. This arrangement ensures ample seating for guests. The enclosed bridge’s aft lounge is designed for convenience and comfort, featuring a day head immediately to port and an L-shaped settee to starboard. The wheelhouse, located forward, is centered around a single helm seat, providing a focused and uncluttered control area.

Materials used throughout the interior are selected for durability and ease of maintenance, reflecting the practical needs of a sport-fisherman vessel. The air-conditioned mezzanine seating in the cockpit area further highlights the emphasis on comfort and functionality, allowing guests to monitor the trolling spread in a pleasant environment.

Accommodation

III Amigos offers accommodation for up to eight guests across four well-appointed staterooms. Each stateroom features en suite facilities, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests.

The full-beam master stateroom, located amidships, is designed for comfort with a king-size berth and ample under-berth storage. Guests can enjoy entertainment on the 65-inch flat-screen TV available in the master stateroom. The VIP stateroom, situated to port, provides a queen-size berth, offering a comfortable and private retreat.

Additionally, the forward port guest stateroom features upper and lower berths, while the starboard guest stateroom is equipped with side-by-side berths, catering to different guest preferences.
