Delivered in 2024, Legend is a 36.8m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Benetti. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Francesco Struglia, while Lazzarini Pickering has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement fiberglass hull and a fibreglass superstructure she features a 7.8m beam and a 1.96m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 297 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in December 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in February 2024.
Exterior Design
Legend features exterior lines designed by Francesco Struglia and interior/exterior styling by Lazzarini Pickering Architects. Its classic exterior design evokes the Navetta yachts of the 1960s. Spread across three decks, the yacht offers luxurious amenities, highlighted by a glass-enclosed observation deck that provides stunning, uninterrupted views.
Access to the beach club is facilitated by twin staircases located aft on the main deck. Lowering the transom door reveals a spacious beach club area, ideal for relaxing by the water. The foredeck offers guest amenities such as sun loungers and a square pool with a teak surround. Twin staircases lead down to the operational area of the foredeck, where the crew can attend to anchoring and mooring tasks.
Access to the sky deck from the upper deck is provided by a staircase located on the port quarter. The sky deck features a custom 'grand piano' sun pad, designed by Lazzarini Pickering as per the owner's specifications. A circular dining table and bar area are shaded by the canopy of the radar mast above, creating a comfortable space for dining.
The main deck aft is furnished with curved banquette seating complemented by Rivera armchairs from Minotti. Access to the upper deck guest area is provided by a staircase located on the starboard side. On the upper deck aft, large rear-facing sofas are arranged, along with a centrally positioned dining table shaded by the sky deck above.
The Benetti yacht, the sixth in its series, presents a striking side profile with a forward dynamic emphasized by teak accents along the topsides, especially on the main deck. Extensive glazing along the hull and forward portholes provides ample natural light for the lower deck accommodations. A distinctive black bootstripe highlights the waterline. The sleek transition from the main deck to the radar mast canopy in black carbon adds a stylish and bold touch. Forward of the main deck, the glazing leading to the gunwale openings at the foredeck completes the elegant and streamlined side profile of this yacht.
Interior Design
The interiors of Legend showcase elegant curves and a rich palette of classic materials and colors, including wood tones, white, blue, and malachite accents. A prominent feature is the spiral staircase in the lobby, ascending through two decks to the sky lounge on the upper deck, enhancing the yacht's spatial dynamics.
The main deck saloon, positioned near the beach platform by Francesco Struglia, integrates indoor and outdoor spaces with sliding glass panels, creating a cohesive environment. Inspired by the skeleton of a whale, the main deck interiors emphasize spatial rhythm, using beams to delineate space rather than traditional bulkheads, allowing extensive lateral glazing to define the area.
Luxury materials feature throughout the yacht, such as Alpi teak for walls and flooring, Calacatta marble, and Antartide pink marble, contributing to a refined ambiance throughout. A notable interior detail is the embossed leather wall behind the owner's cabin bed, a bespoke feature requested by the owner.
Accommodation
Legend accommodates 10 guests across five staterooms and seven crew members, including the captain. The layout includes a spacious main deck owner’s suite situated forward, complemented by four guest suites on the lower deck.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12) 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Legend is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 35,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,800 nautical miles at 10 knots.
