IJE is a 108m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Benetti in 2019. Her naval architecture and interior design comes from the drawing boards of Benetti, while RWD is responsible for her exterior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 15.5m beam and a 4.4m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 3,367 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2019.
Exterior Design
The owner's penchant for timeless design is evident in the yacht's profile, which draws inspiration from the owner's previous yachts - a fast 50-meter Mangusta and 46-meter Leopard. However, IJE is not merely a reiteration of past designs, but a forward-thinking evolution that enhances the best aspects of these yachts.
The exterior design was a priority for the owner and his team. RWD was selected for their reputation for creating timeless, sleek designs. The result is a yacht that pushes the boundaries of form and function. IJE boasts a sculptural design that is distinctly RWD, with an emphasis on purity of lines. Life rafts and wing stations are discreetly tucked away behind panels, ensuring an uninterrupted flow of the yacht's silhouette.
One of the standout design features is the extended bow. Praised by RWD designer Adrian Chisnell as "the longest proportion we've ever done," this stretch not only enhances the yacht's silhouette but also cements IJE's status as Benetti's new flagship by length.
Another notable aspect of IJE's exterior design is the "monto roy wings" - the fashion plates that descend from the superstructure but do not quite reach the bulwarks. This design feature gives the impression of a floating superstructure, adding a sense of lightness and elegance to the yacht's robust structure.
The yacht's design further stands out with its large open decks that offer all-round views. With 929 square meters of open deck area, the superstructure appears as an elegant cloak that shields the interior spaces from view. This is largely due to wide passageways and tinted glass that opens up the interior spaces to the environment while maintaining privacy.
Interior Design
The interior design of IJE encapsulates an elegant, contemporary, and timeless aesthetic that is both luxurious and subtly understated. The primary material employed throughout 90% of the yacht is oak, finished in a hue slightly whiter than its natural tone. This unifying element creates a sense of continuity and harmony across the various spaces of the yacht.
One of the design highlights is the connection between the interior and exterior spaces. This is most evident on the main deck where the main saloon opens on all four sides via automated sliding doors and glass panels, allowing the ambient air to flow freely. This results in 30 meters of uninterrupted open space, transitioning seamlessly from the blond teak deck to a pale oak sole, all without the disruption of a raised sill or threshold.
The guest lift, rising five decks from the tank deck to the bridge deck, serves as an impressive light tunnel, while the stairs, a graceful spiral of open steps with stainless steel details, appear to float around it. Adding to this central feature is a 16-meter-tall art piece that adds a touch of artistic flair to the core circulation area.
The guest cabins continue the elegant pale oak theme, with massive portholes shaped like airliner windows streamlining the design. The owner's deck boasts a cozy lounge with spectacular floor-to-ceiling views.
The interior of the owner's apartment is finished with tanganyika wood, which, in keeping with the overall design theme, is on the lighter side. A few areas, including the cinema, the nightclub, and the bridge, feature darker finishes to create a more intimate environment, while also enhancing their specific functions.
Accommodation
IJE is furnished to accommodate up to 22 guests and comfortably houses 29 crew members, ensuring a high staff to guest ratio for an unparalleled service experience.
The yacht includes an owner's apartment situated on the bridge deck. The owner's apartment features a cozy lounge with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that offer panoramic views. The bathrooms in the apartment are a sight to behold, boasting two oval tubs exquisitely carved out of a single piece of Botticino marble.
In addition, IJE offers eleven luxurious cabins for its guests, each designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Six of these cabins are located on the main deck, while the remaining five are situated on the upper deck. Each cabin boasts spacious interiors adorned with elegant oak detailing and large portholes that offer stunning views of the surrounding seascape. The portholes are equipped with fully retractable shades and shutters, ensuring clean and unobstructed views.
Performance & Capabilities
IJE boasts a powerful and efficient propulsion system, consisting of two MTU 12V 4000 diesel engines, and one MTU 16V 4000 diesel engine. These allow the yacht to reach a top speed of 21 knots, a cruising speed of 16 knots, and offer a range of 6,500 nautical miles.
The yacht's stabilisation system is equally impressive, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride, regardless of the sea conditions. This is achieved through the use of electric Schottel SPJ pump jet that also allows for cruising at up to eight knots without the need to fire up the main engines.
The ship's dynamic positioning system works in tandem with this pump jet, enabling precise positioning of the yacht for optimal dining views or to avoid choppy water during exercise sessions.
In addition, the IJE is equipped with a large single-point lift crane, reportedly the largest installed on a yacht. This crane is used to handle the yacht's three large tenders, which can be stowed away neatly when not in use. The tenders themselves sit on a scissor-style lift system, allowing them to be raised to the deck surface easily.
Leisure & Entertainment
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a sumptuous cinema suite allows for movie nights at sea while IJE features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. Luxury yacht IJE plays host to a complete dancefloor. The yacht is also home to a beauty salon, where those on board can enjoy a number of beauty treatments.
The yacht also houses a vast toy garage, complete with a fleet of eight jet skis and a 1,500-litre refuelling station. This facility was integrated with a design similar to a helicopter refuelling facility, offering an impressive capacity, far beyond the usual 300 litres found on most yachts.
Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads.
