Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.1m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 271 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2005. Launched in June 2009 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2009.
Exterior Design
Nadan exhibits a classic fantail silhouette, reminiscent of the 1920s era yet built with contemporary precision. The yacht's aluminum construction ensures a sturdy and reliable build, with a profile that balances traditional lines and modern maritime engineering.
The vessel measures 46.10m in length and has a draft of 3.41m, providing a stable platform for both cruising and at-anchor enjoyment. The outdoor spaces are thoughtfully arranged to maximize guest comfort and entertainment options. On the main deck aft, a sizeable dining area invites guests to enjoy meals with a panoramic view of the sea, complemented by the fantail seating arrangement that adds character to the space.
Above, the flybridge serves as the central location for socializing and leisure, featuring a full-service bar, dining facilities, and abundant seating areas. For those looking to relax in the sun, the forward sunpads offer a spacious area to unwind with unobstructed views.
Functional and designed with guest experience in mind, Nadan's exterior spaces are well-equipped for a range of activities, whether hosting a dinner under the stars or lounging during a day at sea. The yacht's outdoor amenities are completed with a selection of water toys and tender, ensuring that guests can fully enjoy their time on the water.
Interior Design
Nadan, as envisioned by Ken Freivokh, prioritizes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere. Central to this ambiance are the Madrona Burl wall panels, featuring inlays of Macassar Ebony, which are prominent throughout the vessel's common areas. This choice of wood, known for its rich hues and complex grain patterns, contributes to the yacht's sophisticated yet understated appeal.
The dining area features a smart layout, where full-length doors can open to merge the indoor space with the outside for an al fresco dining experience. This design allows guests to enjoy their meals with the added ambiance of their surrounding maritime environment.
Accommodation
Nadan offers premium accommodation for up to eight guests. The yacht features four well-appointed cabins, each designed to provide a comfortable and private retreat for those on board.
The master suite, positioned on the main deck, is a highlight of Nadan's accommodation offerings. Below deck, guests will find additional cabin options, including a VIP suite, one double cabin, and one twin cabin. Each of these cabins is equipped with its own en suite bathroom, allowing for convenience and seclusion.
The crew quarters for up to seven are separate from the guest areas, ensuring that both guests and crew have their own distinct spaces on board.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-18) 6-cylinder 600hp engines running at 1850rpm, motor yacht Nadan is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
