Exterior Design
Onyx features generous exterior decks that cater to various activities, including sunbathing and socializing. The beach club provides direct access to the sea, enhancing the onboard experience for guests.
Onyx's shallow draft of 1.98 meters makes her suitable for exploring shallow reefs and remote coves, offering versatility in her cruising capabilities. The design ensures that guests can enjoy different types of scenery throughout their journey.
The flybridge includes a second helm station and a bar, shaded by a hardtop. Aft of the flybridge, daybeds are available for sunbathing. Forward of the bridge, a sun lounge area with a U-shaped sofa and sun pads provides another space for relaxation. At the bow, a Jacuzzi offers an additional amenity for guest enjoyment.
The hull and superstructure are both painted in dark grey, offering a cohesive and sleek appearance. Below the waterline, the yacht is finished in black, ensuring a consistent and professional look throughout the vessel. The combination of these elements results in a yacht that is both visually striking and practically designed for optimal performance and durability.
Interior Design
The interior design of Onyx, crafted by Officina Italiana Design under the direction of Mauro Micheli, showcases a modern and glossy decor that creates a refined and inviting environment. Generous windows throughout the vessel ensure abundant natural light and offer panoramic views, enhancing the sense of space and connection with the surrounding sea.
The main saloon features an open-plan layout that takes full advantage of Onyx's 7.27-meter beam. Guests are welcomed by a lounge area positioned to port, facing an entertainment center on the starboard side, which includes a home theater system. Adjacent to the lounge is a formal dining area that accommodates up to 10 guests, facilitating a seamless transition between relaxation and dining.
The galley is well-equipped with modern appliances and ample counter space, designed for efficiency and functionality to support the needs of both the crew and guests. It offers the necessary amenities for meal preparation and service, ensuring a high standard of onboard dining.
At the helm, the design prioritizes functionality and ease of navigation. The second helm station located on the flybridge provides an alternative control point, offering versatility and convenience. The helm features state-of-the-art navigation equipment, arranged with practicality in mind to ensure straightforward operation.
Onyx also includes several outdoor lounge areas. The aft deck provides an al fresco dining option, suitable for casual meals in the open air. Above, the flybridge offers another dining space, accompanied by a bar shaded by a hardtop. This area is equipped with daybeds for sunbathing, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their surroundings.
Forward of the bridge, a sun lounge area features a U-shaped sofa and three sun pads, providing additional space for unwinding. At the bow, a Jacuzzi offers a spot for relaxation, complemented by the surrounding sun lounge area.
