The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2024 (FLIBS) kicks off today, with more than 100,000 visitors from around the globe expected to grace the Florida-based, U.S. show between October 30 and November 3.
Proudly boasting the title of the world’s largest in-water boat show, FLIBS 2024 covers 278,000 square meters (3 million square feet) of exhibition space over seven spectacular locations.
This year's show features 194 superyachts (the most since 2020), aided by 2,134m (7,000ft) of new docks and 68 berths at the expanded Las Olas Marina. The project, which started in 2022 and cost $70 million, was officially opened on October 29 by the City of Fort Lauderdale.
An impressive lineup of over 1,300 vessels — including boats, yachts, and superyachts — are on show, with standout exhibitors such as Sunseeker, Ferretti Yachts, and Pearl Yachts, presenting their latest builds and model debuts to the American market.
Below we highlight some of the best parts of FLIBS 2024 that you won't want to miss.
The Largest Superyacht: 78m AMARYLLIS
Making her return after a 10-year hiatus, Abeking & Rasmussen's 78m (257ft) superyacht AMARYLLIS has taken the title as the largest yacht at the show. Built in 2011, AMARYLLIS features five decks and boasts an impressive internal volume of 2,108 Gross Tonnes (GT). Outdoor amenities include a sundeck with a large jacuzzi and sunbathing areas, and a spacious beach club on the lower deck.
Inside, the superyacht offers an Art Nouveau-inspired interior with handcrafted sycamore panels and a dining room with panoramic views. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across six suites, including a full-beam master suite. Social spaces include a piano lounge and a sky lounge with a 103-inch TV.
