Key Features

  • VIP suite with private starboard terrace
  • Dramatic burled oak paneling in master
  • Open-plan main saloon for entertaining
  • Boldly striped wool carpet hand-loomed in India.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 30'1" beam and a 7'4" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 492 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2010. This was the tenth yacht built on the W164 design. Launched in November 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in December 2012.

Interior Design

The interior design of Annastar reflects a thoughtful and cohesive approach, emphasizing both aesthetics and functionality. The upper saloon features a boldly striped and textured wool carpet, hand-loomed in India, and nautical furniture. This area is flanked by two side terraces and includes a covered aft deck with a circular table accessible through wide sliding doors.

The main saloon stands out with its lilac 3D cut pile and loop wool carpet, handwoven in Nepal. The dining table here incorporates stainless details that mimic the overhead design. The bold burled oak joinery in the saloon is balanced by plain chests and tone-on-tone grey fabrics, creating a harmonious environment. The room's open plan is conducive to entertaining, with an imported handmade rug making a major design statement. Notably, the design choice was made to relocate the television and avoid dividing the room with a credenza/television unit.

The galley is designed with upscale commercial finishes by restaurant design consultant RDS. It includes smart touches, such as cabinet latches designed by Boeing and a worktop warmer that keeps plates hot from underneath rather than via a heat lamp. Adjacent to the galley are large walk-in freezers and ample dry storage, ensuring practicality in a luxurious setting.

The marine environment heavily influenced the color palette, with blues, beiges, and lavenders blending seamlessly with the sea, sand, and sky at sunset. This inside-out approach ensures that the exterior surroundings visually extend into the interior spaces.

Accommodation

Annastar offers spacious and well-appointed accommodations for a total of 12 guests across six elegantly furnished cabins.

The master suite is located forward on the main deck. It features dramatic burled oak paneling and grey fabric wall coverings, creating a refined atmosphere. The suite includes a comfortable study area and an open bath and dressing area, specifically redesigned for this hull. Noteworthy features include 'hot drawers' for charging devices discreetly and beds on linear actuators for easy access to storage.

A generously sized VIP suite is situated on the bridge deck. This suite provides private access to a starboard-side terrace, offering guests an exclusive outdoor space.

The lower deck houses four of the five guest cabins. To accommodate extended family, what is typically an exercise room was converted into a fifth guest suite. This suite includes twin cabins and two Pullman berths, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for additional guests.

She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 3,647hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Annastar is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 19,369 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,200 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
