Westport superyacht Quantum of Solace sold by Northrop & Johnson

Northrop & Johnson has announced the successful sale of the striking 50m (164ft) Westport motor yacht, Quantum of Solace.

Overseen by Northrop & Johnson's Alex Rogers, who represented the buyer throughout the process, Quantum of Solace has a host of impressive features and luxurious amenities, certain to impress guests of the new owner.

Showcasing a mesmerizing aesthetic and an abundance of elegant details, Quantum of Solace was constructed in 2009, and then underwent a refit in 2022.

With a multitude of exceptional facilities including a touch-and-go helipad, an elevator serving all decks, and a generous amount of spacious exteriors, Quantum of Solace provides an indulgent way for all guests to travel to even the most remote destinations.

Connectivity to the great outdoors is what this superyacht is all about, exterior liveability is primed for relaxation and social soirees, with an on-deck Jacuzzi, ample alfresco dining options and a Portuguese bridge deck.

Paired up with a vast expanse of glazing around the main and bridge deck, guests can enjoy all the views without compromising a comfortable position within the interior environment.

The interiors themselves were penned by Donald Starkey, who opted for the extensive use of woods for a timeless, classic, appeal, plus plenty of seating arrangements throughout the tri-deck layout for optimal lounging opportunities to mix and mingle with other guests onboard.

Aside from the plush seating, Quantum of Solace also offers a formal interior dining set up with its own custom-made chandelier, a wet bar and a fully equipped gym.

With a capacity to accommodate up to 12 guests, Quantum of Solace has a six-cabin layout comprising of a full-beam master cabin on the main deck with its own private study and lounging area, plus a bridge deck VIP complete with a queen size bed, and then two king cabins, one convertible twin and a bunk cabin down on the lower deck.
