Since its inception in 1964, Viking Yachts has made its home in New Gretna, nestled along the Bass River's shores upstream of Atlantic City in New Jersey. Founded by Bob and Bill Healey, the company revitalized a struggling wooden sport fishing boat builder, transitioning it into a renowned success story by embracing fiberglass construction.

Remaining steadfast to its heritage, Viking presents five distinct ranges of sport fishing boats, each tailored to specific fishing styles, alongside a selection of larger motor cruisers. With over 4,000 boats launched to date, Viking takes pride in its in-house manufacturing prowess, crafting over 90 percent of each vessel on-site. Utilizing cutting-edge composite materials, including vacuum-infused kevlar and carbon fiber, Viking ensures optimal rigidity and strength in their hulls. While components such as engines, transmissions, and electronics are sourced externally, virtually everything else is meticulously crafted within the company's facilities, showcasing their unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
