Delivered in 1986, Vixit is a 52.8m motor yacht built by Oskarshamnsvarvet. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Diana Yacht Design, while Dvorine Associates is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Spacious sun deck with tables and loungers
  • Extensive water sports equipment and toys
  • Large sky lounge with cinema and arcade
  • 3,500 nautical mile range

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.2m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 710 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Vixit's sun deck has been extended to accommodate a substantial spa pool and sunbathing area, maximizing the use of available space. This extension provides a spacious platform for relaxation and informal dining, with a pair of tables placed under the shade of an awning.

The hull and superstructure offer significant internal volume, which has been used to create a layout that benefits both private and commercial use. The beamy hull contributes to the yacht's stability and sea-keeping abilities, making it capable of crossing the Atlantic under its own power. The upper deck areas are designed for informal dining, sunbathing, and general enjoyment of the open air, with additional deck space made available by relocating the tenders and toys to a lower deck.

The exterior design includes practical elements such as a powerful beam crane for launching tenders and toys, which is neatly concealed in the deckhead when not in use. The main deck features a large outdoor dining table in the shade of the overhead, providing a pleasant space for leisurely meals when the yacht is at anchor.

Interior Design

The upper saloon is designed as the principal area for leisure and entertainment. It includes a full-sized air hockey table and three sophisticated arcade machines, making it a popular spot for children and adults alike. The aft part of the upper saloon offers a more traditional setting with comfortable sofas arranged around tables, often used as a cinema space with a giant plasma screen and surround-sound system.

The main deck saloon is divided into two distinct areas. The forward section serves as a formal dining room, featuring a burl walnut table that can seat up to 12 guests. This area is complemented by a pantry in one of the foyers to facilitate easy service from the main galley located just forward of the dining room. The aft section of the saloon is a comfortable lounge with a well-sized seating arrangement designed to encourage conversation. Adjacent to this area is a table and chairs commonly used for board games and puzzles.

The main and upper decks are wheelchair accessible, featuring a stair-lift that can be packed away when not in use.

Accommodation

Vixit offers ample accommodation for up to 12 guests. The owner's suite is strategically positioned forward on the main deck. It features a central king-sized bed flanked by a comfortable seating area. Large, unobstructed windows allow for plenty of natural light. The suite includes an elegant marble bathroom accessible from either side via walk-through dressing rooms. This bathroom is equipped with twin basins, a large bathtub with water jets, and an oversized shower stall.

Vixit boasts two spacious VIP suites. The first VIP suite is located directly behind the owner's suite and, although smaller, provides ample space and large windows for natural light. It features a luxurious green marble bathroom with a full-sized tub. The second VIP suite is situated on the lower deck, running across the hull's width. This suite is slightly larger and includes a generous bathroom with sliding doors.

Three additional guest staterooms are available on Vixit. One is a compact double room with a full-sized tub in the bathroom. The remaining two are twin-bedded rooms, each equipped with showers. All guest staterooms come with comprehensive entertainment systems.

She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
