Galeon started development on the 640 Fly in 2009. There was a large break of nine years before the second generation was launched in 2018 and saw its World Debut at Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show (DBMIBS) later that year. The third and latest generation Galeon 640 Fly was announced in 2025.
The 640 broke the mould when it was launched such to the extent that it's still ahead of the game even now.
