Our proven 65 Convertible features a Hatteras Hargrave modified-V hull, its sharp entry and broad flare help keep you high and fry, when you need it most. Aft, the modified-V shape flattens slightly at the chines to provides responsiveness and balanced performance in a variety of sea conditions. When the going gets tough, you can feel the excellence of Hatteras engineering. The rock solid, all hand-laid fibreglass hull bottom is backed up by an incredibly strong stringer network engineered to distribute sea loads and the power provided by up to 2700 total shaft horsepower.

The molded-in pulpit and rakish bow leads aft to a step-down sheer and ultra large cockpit - a sleek integrated look that continues in both the open and the optional enclosed bridge designs.

The cockpit is all business, the result of Hatteras' extensive experience. With an all fiberglass seamless sole, this cockpit stretches 13 feet long and 175 square feet! There's a 38" transom door and gate, molded-in fish box in the transom coaming , a bait make-up station, live bait well, twin-compartment stainless teel refrigerator/freezer, and additional fish boxes in the sole (one can be refrigerated). There is also room for optional cockpit controls and muc.much more. This one's got it all!

The salon is casual, contemporary, and comfortable, with recessed lighting and an optional light ash wood finish for added flair. Large windows aft add to the feeling of spaciousness.

The forward master stateroom features a queen-size berth, a large cedar-lined closet, and plenty of dresser storage. The private master head features a smart, molded composite countertop, durable vinyl flooring, and a tub/shower combination with whirlpool jets.
