The 53.50 meter SANSSOUCI STAR was built at the Husumer Schiffswerft shipyard in Husum, Germany. Originally commissioned by a wealthy German industrialist who had plans in place to set sail should a conflict arise following the increased tensions from the Warsaw Pact.

SANSSOUCI STAR is RINA commercial and has proven to be a successful charter yacht. There is accommodation for 12 guests in 7 staterooms. The master suite is situated aft of the bridge / owner deck; adjacent is its own sitting room, office space, gym and private aft deck. The master suite is very comfortable with a poster bed and a well-appointed en-suite bathroom. There are two VIP double cabins on the main deck, then two double cabins and two twins situated on the lower deck. All cabins are appointed with en-suite facilities.

The interior is traditional in styling and provides versatility in its configuration. The main deck saloon is spacious which includes an English style bar, which leads onto a formal dining room with space for two separate or large adjoining dining tables seating up to 18 guests.

The exterior deck provides plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing. On the main deck there is a private and enclosed seating area with a large circular teak table sitting 10 guests. Then moving up to the aft of the bridge deck there is a great area for lounging, socializing and storage for the main tender and hydraulic crane.
