Feadship’s 80m Superyacht Thalassa Spotted in Rotterdam Ahead of Outfitting

The 80m superyacht Thalassa, also known as Feadship 826, has been officially sighted on transport through Rotterdam in the Netherlands, marking the next major step towards her 2026 delivery.

Now en route to Amsterdam, the Feadship superyacht will begin her outfitting phase, bringing her closer to completion. With her distinctive silhouette clearly visible as she passed through Rotterdam, Thalassa’s striking design is already turning heads.

The exterior of the yacht comes from Malcolm McKeon, featuring a continuous sweep of windows that promises sweeping sea views and plenty of natural light inside. Feadship’s in-house De Voogt Naval Architects developed the naval architecture, while interiors are being crafted by Milan-based studio m2atelier.

Although most of the interior details remain shrouded in secrecy, released renderings suggest a contemporary and masculine feel, carried through with clean lines, a neutral palette, and a focus on low-profile elegance.

One of the standout features onboard the motor yacht is a vast 165-square-metre beach club - reportedly the largest Feadship has ever constructed. With floor-to-ceiling openings on three sides, this area is set to be a real hub for social life on board, offering uninterrupted views and easy access to the water.

Other exterior highlights include a dip pool on the sundeck, a larger pool on the main deck, and wide-open spaces for sunbathing and dining across the yacht’s four decks. Transparent bulwarks along the main deck further enhance the connection to the surrounding seascape.

Built with a gross tonnage of 1,953GT, Thalassa is designed to deliver a strong presence and serious performance. Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in six staterooms, with crew quarters for 15. Powered by twin MTU engines, she is expected to reach a top speed of 16 knots, cruise at 14 knots, and achieve a transoceanic range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

A Busy Period for Feadship

Thalassa's arrival in Rotterdam adds another milestone to a busy period for Feadship. The Dutch yard recently launched the 101m Moonrise, one of the largest yachts ever built in the Netherlands, and completed sea trials for the 80m Faith, a striking vessel built for a repeat client.

Meanwhile, construction continues on the 76m ONE, a sleek, contemporary yacht with a volume of 1,750GT, and the 50m Project Fun, a more compact 484GT vessel designed with relaxed cruising in mind. Both projects further demonstrate Feadship's ability to deliver across a wide size range.

Both ONE and Project Fun are currently listed for sale on YachtBuyer, priced at €172,500,000 and €65,000,000.

As Thalassa makes her way towards Amsterdam, attention will now turn to her outfitting - the final phase that will transform this impressive hull into one of the most anticipated deliveries of 2026.
