Horizon delivers 32.75m FD102 hull TO-KALON

Taiwanese shipyard Horizon has announced the successful delivery of the second FD102 hull TO-KALON.

The first hull in the FD series to be delivered to experienced owners in the United States, 32.75m (107') TO-KALON was handed over during a private ceremony and was christened with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

Anticipated to make her global debut at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, TO-KALON was launched in May 2020 and has been designed in collaboration with Cor D Rover.

With tender storage on the bow and a semi-enclosed flybridge, TO-KALON has spacious exteriors with an on-deck Jacuzzi, al fresco dining options, a wetbar and BBQ. Features which have continued to be popular with other FD102 yachts for sale.

It has been a very pleasant building experience working with everyone at Horizon both in the U.S. and Taiwan. Their willingness to consider our ideas, incorporate their own and to be willing to compromise on important matters is very commendable. We look forward to many years of enjoyable cruising on our specially designed yacht. We have Cor D. Rover to thank for the basic concept, which we think will be quite well received in the yachting community. Long and short, we can’t say enough good things about the Horizon team and expect the quality and workmanship we have yet to enjoy will equal the experience thus far.

Interiors onboard the Horizon FD102 have various customizations to the standard design, which have been requested by the new owners.

The customized additions include backlit mullions which line the main salon plus a modified galley which has been integrated with industry grade appliances.

Able to accommodate up to 10 guests within a five-cabin layout, TO-KALON is powered by twin Caterpillar Inc engines with a total of 3,200 hp, providing a top speed of 21.4 knots.
