The Taiwanese shipyard Horizon Yachts have announced their latest contract to commission the second FD102 hull. Just six months after construction began on the first unit, the news of a second contract shows the new FD102 series is one to watch from the Horizon fleet.
Booked in for an April 2020 delivery, the second unit of the FD102 model has been commissioned by American owners who have previously purchased a yacht designed by Cor D. Rover.
Extensive customisation has been indicated by the Taiwanese brand for the upcoming build. With the co-operation and willingness to adapt the design from the brand being the deal maker with the new owners.
Intended for extensive cruising in US waters by the owners after delivery, the second FD102 hull will be of the Skyline version of the model and will feature a forward tender and deploying davit.
The subsequent aft deck space will be detailed at a later date, but a generous space and easy access swim platform will ensure that guests get the most of their experience on the brand new unit.
Socialising will be a breeze for guests onboard with a spacious main deck complete with a comfortable lounge area and ample room to mingle throughout the interior. A formal dining set up will also provide further opportunities for owners to engage with their guests.
Overnight accommodation will feature the same high level of design and finish in a collection of five cabins. The master suite will occupy its own space on the main deck and a further four cabins will be located on the lower deck, comprising of a king, two queens and a twin.
