Horizon Power Catamarans to Showcase New Yacht Models at FLIBS 2024

The PC68 will debut at FLIBS, featuring a spacious aft deck and a Portuguese Deck forward, while the updated PC60 model highlights a wet bar and raised dinette.

Builder Horizon Power Catamarans will present two of its PC models at the upcoming 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) between October 30 and November 3, 2024. The multihull models will include a brand-new PC60 with an on-deck master layout, and a new 2025 PC68 model, marking the PC68's FLIBS debut.

PC68

The Horizon PC68, the latest addition to a lineup that includes the PC52 and PC60, offers a balance of manageable length with ample interior and deck space. The PC68 features a spacious aft deck with dining that flows into the main salon. The salon boasts a large starboard galley and a forward port lounge area. The on-deck master configuration is bathed in light from panoramic windows and includes steps leading to a large ensuite with dual basins in the port hull. The starboard hull houses a VIP king ensuite and a second convertible twin ensuite aft, while the port hull includes another convertible twin ensuite.

The PC68’s flybridge deck layout features a semi-enclosed flybridge with twin helm chairs, covered dining, seating areas, and a dayhead. The tender is stowed on the boat deck aft, which is equipped with a bar and grill station. The Portuguese Deck forward offers convertible lounging, seating, or dining options. Powered by twin MAN i6 850hp engines, the PC68 has a 1,850nm range at 9 knots.

PC60

The latest PC60 motor yacht will also be on display, commissioned by owners who loved their previous PC60 with an Open Salon layout. The new PC60 features an on-deck master configuration with a VIP and twin cabins in the starboard hull, and an additional twin and the master stateroom’s large ensuite in the port hull.

The open flybridge includes a helm chair, raised settees, a wet bar, a raised dinette, and a wraparound settee. The spacious boat deck houses the tender and provides ample space for entertainment or relaxation when the yacht tender is launched.

Both of the new multihull models are equipped with Horizon’s latest power package system, which combines a Victron phosphate battery with a Termodinamica variable speed air conditioning system for minimal generator usage and maximum efficiency. This system can keep the interior cool, dry, and quiet for nearly 20 hours on battery power alone. Now standard on all Horizon Power Catamaran models, the battery system has shown an 84% improvement in energy efficiencies.
