On Deck

At the back of the yacht, there is a hi-lo platform and a massive sun pad that sits atop a large storage garage. Nick appreciates the yacht's ability to store a Williams jet tender and a jet ski, making it ideal for those who enjoy water sports.

He then moves onto the boat, showcasing the letterbox passerelle and the extendable sunshade. Also pointed out is the bar area, equipped with a barbecue, sink, and fridge, as well as a comfortable seating area. The sliding doors that connect the outdoor area with the saloon are commended, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience.

Nick appreciates the wide side decks to the foredeck, sunbeds, and sleek design of this area.  Of note was the anchor winch with storage lockers and sun roof for the cabins.

Interior

Inside the yacht, there is an adjustable table and asideboard that houses a bar. Particularly praised is the light oak wood finish, which contrasts nicely with the glossy wood on the table. The sliding roof with large glass windows is another feature that is appreciated, as it brings in plenty of light and connects the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The helm of the yacht features an electric window, two comfortable seats, a chartplotter, radar, and bow thrusters. Nick appreciates the high seating position, which offers excellent visibility.

Below deck, showcased is a small dinette opposite a well-equipped galley including electric cooking facilities, fridge, and dishwasher. The yacht also features air conditioning throughout, with controls placed in different areas on the boat. Also mentioned is the crew cabin with a washing machine, which doubles as a great storage area, with separate access.

The VIP guest cabin features beds that can be converted into a double or two singles, and an ensuite bathroom. He also shows the third cabin with full-sized adult bunks. The master cabin spans the full beam of the boat and is beautifully appointed with a large wardrobe and a separate ensuite bathroom.

Performance

The engine room houses two Volvo Penta D13-900 engines, which gives a top speed of up to 40 knots, cruising at 30-35 knots. At a speed of 20 knots, the boat's range is 300 nautical miles. The cleanliness of the area and the easy accessibility of the air conditioning units and fuel filters is admired. The yacht has a conventional shaft drive system, which is regarded as simple and reliable.

In Summary

Overall, Nick is impressed with the Princess V57 yacht, pointing out its performance, range, accommodation, and storage for toys. He describes it as a great family boat that combines fun and functionality.
