The Sundancer 400 was built in the United States by Sea Ray making full use of their in-house design team's expertise. The 12.2m/40' sportsboat constructed in FRP can sleep up to seven guests in two cabins. She was available with a range of inboard engine options.
The models in this range were in production for almost 20 years, so you can be assured that each Sundancer 400 was built on a proven platform of success. Production of the first generation Sea Ray 400 Sundancer started in 1997 and ran for over 2 years. The second and final generation Sea Ray Sundancer 400 went into production in 2015 and saw its World Debut at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show - FLIBS later that year.
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 25 knots via its twin 473hp Cummins QSB6.7 480mhp engines. In terms of range, the Sea Ray Sundancer 400 has a standard range of 575 nautical miles (nm).
