The World Superyacht Awards 2018
Boat International’s World Superyacht Awards 2018 took place from 18 to 20 May with the beautiful Palazzo Vecchio in Florence hosting the 13th edition of the event.
After a welcome party at the Italian Renaissance garden the Giardino Bardini, it was time for the main event. With its mix of Roman ruins, a medieval fortress and some incredible Renaissance chambers and paintings the Palazzo Vecchio, which is the town hall of Florence, was a stunning setting for the awards.
The pick of the superyachting world were there to see 68 nominations vying for 18 awards in a variety of categories including Sailing Yacht of the Year and Best Yacht Conversion.
