Exterior Design

Africa I's exterior design embodies functionality and elegance, crafted to provide the ultimate charter experience for guests. The yacht's extensive deck areas are thoughtfully arranged to facilitate a variety of outdoor activities and relaxation. Each level presents an inviting environment for guests to enjoy the open air and stunning ocean views.

The aft deck is covered, offering a comfortable dining area that can accommodate ten guests. This space is ideal for enjoying alfresco meals or evening cocktails in a convivial setting. A broad staircase leads down to the generously-sized swimming platform which allows for effortless access to the water, making it a favorite spot for guests who wish to engage with the sea.

On the upper deck, guests will find an additional dining setup, perfect for intimate gatherings or casual dining under the sky. The sun deck above is a highlight of the vessel, featuring an array of amenities including a well-equipped gym area, sun loungers, and a Jacuzzi. This area is a versatile space where guests can engage in exercise, bask in the sun, or unwind in the bubbling warmth of the Jacuzzi.

Africa I's exterior, while practical, does not sacrifice aesthetics; the sleek lines and well-proportioned spaces reflect the yacht's premium status.

Interior Design

The main saloon offers a spacious area for relaxation and socializing, featuring lounge seating, complemented by a formal dining table suitable for memorable gatherings. The choice of neutral fabrics and white panels creates a bright and welcoming atmosphere, and the beautiful wood flooring adds warmth to the space.

In terms of lighting, the saloon benefits from panoramic windows that allow for ample natural light during the day, enhancing the sense of openness. In the evening, discreet and carefully positioned artificial lighting provides a soft ambiance that is both pleasant and practical.

Adjacent to the main saloon, the dining areas are well-appointed with furniture that balances style and comfort. Upholstered seating accommodates guests for formal dining occasions, while the layout ensures ease of service and conversation.

Accommodation

Africa I offers accommodations for 12 guests across six well-appointed cabins, ensuring a comfortable and private experience for each individual on board. The yacht's interior layout includes a diverse range of sleeping quarters to cater to various preferences and needs.

The main deck houses the owner's suite—a spacious and thoughtfully designed area that provides a serene environment for the primary guests. This full-beam cabin ensures ample natural light and includes a private en suite bathroom, enhancing the comfort of the occupants.

In addition to the owner's suite, there is a VIP cabin situated on the upper deck. This cabin also benefits from generous space and is equipped with its own en suite facilities, offering a high level of comfort and privacy.

Below on the lower deck, guests will find two double cabins and two twin cabins, each designed with a consistent level of quality and comfort in mind. These cabins are mirror images of one another and come equipped with individual entertainment centers, Sony television screens, and private en suite bathrooms.

To maintain the highest standard of service, Africa I also includes quarters for a crew of nine. The crew accommodations are separate from the guest areas, ensuring privacy and discretion while providing the crew with their own dedicated space.

Performance & Capabilities

Africa I is engineered to deliver robust performance and ensure a smooth journey across the seas. At the heart of her mechanical prowess are twin 3,647hp MTU diesel engines, which provide the vessel with a cruising speed of 12 knots, which is optimal for guests who prioritize a leisurely pace. For those occasions where speed is of the essence, the yacht is capable of reaching a brisk 24 knots, allowing for swift passage and more time at the desired destinations.

The yacht’s range is a notable characteristic, with the ability to cover an impressive 3,400 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots. This extended range makes Africa I suitable for long-distance voyages and exploring remote locations without the frequent need for refueling stops.

Ensuring that guests experience minimal disruption from ocean swell, Africa I is equipped with Quantum zero-speed stabilizers. These state-of-the-art stabilizers are designed to reduce roll motion both while the yacht is underway and at anchor, thus enhancing onboard comfort and making stays more pleasant, especially in rougher sea conditions.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Africa I also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
