Delivered in 2007, Akiko is an award winning 34.12m expedition yacht built by New Zealander shipyard Alloy Yachts. Alloy Yachts is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 7.72m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 281 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Accommodation

Akiko offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 1 double cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3406E) 475hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Akiko is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 34,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 8 knots.
