Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 396 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2020 as a speculative build by Baglietto. This was the first yacht built on the DOM133 design. Launched in March 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2022.

Exterior Design

One of the most striking features of Attitude's design is its near-plumb bow, which presents a bold and assertive profile. The clean black-and-white color scheme accentuates the yacht's angular and modern lines, while the taller superstructure affords a generous internal volume of 411 gross tonnes, an impressive figure for a vessel of its size.

Vafiadis, drawing inspiration from both automotive design and architecture, imbues the yacht with a sculptural quality that reflects his passions. The resemblance to modern car radiators is evident in the parametric pattern of two air exchange grilles on the upper deck – a nod to the intricate designs found in high-performance vehicles. Similarly, the aft edge of the upper and fly decks takes its cue from the spoiler of a sports car, adding a dynamic element to the yacht's silhouette.

The aft end of the boat has been conceived with particular care and creativity. The beach club, a standout feature, extends over two levels, blending a luxurious pool area on the main deck with a dedicated bathing platform below. The pool boasts a lifting bottom, allowing it to transform into a dance floor or an extension of the main deck, effectively serving dual purposes. This innovative approach maximizes the vessel's aft deck space, enabling a seamless transition from elegant gatherings to moments of leisurely relaxation by the sea.

The automotive influences continue with the incorporation of aggressive lines and voluminous shapes reminiscent of the latest SUVs, which Vafiadis describes as the new frontier for designers. This approach results in a yacht that is not only visually striking but also deeply rooted in contemporary design trends.

Hidden engineering marvels, such as a disguised gangway that masquerades as an ordinary staircase, reveal a dedication to both form and function. This gangway can be hydraulically maneuvered to the quayside, adding an element of James Bond-esque sophistication to the boarding experience.

With its tiered main deck aft and an infinity swimming pool featuring a high-low floor, Attitude taps into the growing trend for open-air beach clubs, offering guests a unique space to enjoy the outdoors, whether at anchor or in port. The yacht's exterior spaces have been planned to ensure every area serves a distinct purpose, from laid-back lounging on the main deck aft to refined al fresco dining and sunbathing on the upper deck.

The sundeck, spanning an expansive 75 square meters, harmoniously blends various leisure activities, featuring sunbeds, a spa pool, geometrically shaped sunpads, and a family table with a bar. Additionally, the foredeck cockpit presents yet another serene retreat with its own array of sofas, sunpads, and low tables.

Interior Design

The design team has selected materials and crafted a layout for Attitude that creates a warm, friendly palette that emphasizes comfort and livability—a true 'home away from home' for extended stays on the water.

Central to Farca's vision is the extensive use of wood, which brings a serene, calming effect throughout the yacht. The oak paneling alongside the main saloon's floor-to-ceiling windows offers a natural touch, harmonizing the interior with the marine vistas. This choice is echoed underfoot with textured oak boards that add depth and warmth to the vessel's spaces.

The upper deck saloon, with its wooden parquet flooring, seamlessly integrates the exterior's teak work into the interior design. This design choice facilitates a continuity between the inside and outside spaces when the doors are slid back, creating a fluid, open environment where guests can enjoy various activities in the company of a large group, all within the same expansive area.

In contrast, the main saloon delineates a more defined space with sleek leather armchairs and a disposition that encourages gathering within the yacht's cozy confines. Here, the rich tan leather is complemented by glossy black-grey emperador marble surfaces and ribbed wooden paneling, imparting a sophisticated, club-like atmosphere. This aesthetic is further enhanced by gleaming metal mesh cabinets and a striking Viabizzuno chandelier, its bristling black aluminum tubes adding a modern edge to the space.

Attitude's interior is also adorned with carefully selected artwork, chosen by Farca himself, injecting personality and a sense of life into the yacht's spaces. These artistic elements are complemented by sculptural features designed by the team, such as the metal mesh in the main saloon and the onyx niche on the upper deck, ensuring that each space within the yacht has its own focal point to draw the eye and spark conversation.

Accommodation

Attitude offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

At the heart of Attitude's mechanical prowess lie her twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, each delivering a robust 2.4MW of power. These engines enable the yacht to gracefully navigate the waters with a top speed of 17 knots, demonstrating both strength and agility. For the voyager who appreciates a more serene pace, Attitude offers an impressive range of 6,900 nautical miles when cruising at a tranquil seven knots. This balance of speed and endurance positions Attitude as an ideal choice for both spirited jaunts and extended sojourns across the ocean's expanse.

Attitude's performance is further enhanced by her design to accommodate a full hybrid propulsion package, a forward-thinking feature that promises to set a new standard in yachting. With the inclusion of a lithium battery bank paired with twin 100kW electric motors, this innovative system allows for near-silent operation at five knots for up to four hours. Such capability ensures that Attitude can glide away from the harbor or enter a new bay with minimal disturbance to the serene marine environment.

The yacht's 120kW generators are ingeniously designed to operate at optimal efficiency, either propelling the boat's electric motors or augmenting the diesel engines. Furthermore, the batteries are capable of sustaining the yacht's hotel load for at least 10 hours, ensuring that guests can enjoy uninterrupted comfort and luxury through the night without the need for generator power.

Baglietto's commitment to future-proofing is evident in Attitude's compatibility with the Bzero hydrogen drive, a technology currently under development at the shipyard. This investment in sustainability and innovation speaks to the shipyard's vision of creating yachts that not only meet but exceed the expectations of modern yacht owners.

Amenities

Waterfront living can be enjoyed to the fullest, thanks to a large beach club and connecting swim platform with plenty of space for sitting back and admiring the sea views. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
