Botti is a 36.3m motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Moonen in 2022. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by René van der Velden Yacht Design, while her interiors are the work of Studio Indigo.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 337 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the Martinique 112 design. Launched in December 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2022.

Exterior Design

Botti's exterior boasts a fast-displacement hull, constructed from High Tensile Steel, which not only enhances her strength and durability but also contributes to her graceful appearance. This material choice, less common in yachts of her class, encapsulates the Moonen dedication to quality and longevity, ensuring that BOTTI will maintain her allure for years to come.

The yacht's profile is characterized by her elongated sun deck, a specific customization requested by the owners to accommodate an infinity hot tub—a feature that perfectly encapsulates the essence of luxury living on the water. This extension of the sun deck is an example of the significant structural modifications that Moonen Yachts was willing to undertake to fulfill the owners' desires, setting Botti apart from other vessels in her class.

Moreover, Botti's design provides practical enhancements tailored to American yachting needs, such as additional cleats for mooring on floating docks and dual power systems to accommodate both European and American electrical standards. These thoughtful considerations ensure that Botti is not only a masterpiece of design but also a paragon of functionality and convenience.

Throughout the yacht, consistency in the palette of materials and details such as teak paneling and stainless-steel inlays, lend warmth and an air of inviting comfort, while the luxurious finishes and textures add to Botti's distinct identity. The exterior spaces, including the aft deck, bridge deck, and sun deck, have been thoughtfully arranged to offer the perfect blend of entertainment and relaxation opportunities, providing guests with an unparalleled maritime experience.

Each space on the yacht narrates a story, showcasing the owners' creative flair and the meticulous attention to detail provided by the shipyard and designers. The outcome is a yacht that resonates with beauty, quality, and uniqueness, making Botti a vessel that her owners can proudly associate their name with and a shining example of luxury yachting at its finest.

Interior Design

The interior of Botti is a space that radiates a bright, cheerful ambiance, replete with an array of colors, patterns, and textures. The eclectic mix is distinctly Floridian, lending the yacht an undeniable sense of identity and character that is palpable from the moment one steps aboard.

Botti's interior showcases custom-designed furniture, highlighting the exceptional involvement of the owners in the yacht's design process. The dedication to customization is evident throughout every corner of the vessel, from the dazzling headboards woven in vibrant cowhide patterns that grant each cabin its unique personality, to the handcrafted crystal chandeliers and horsehair wall lights.

The Sky Lounge on the Bridge Deck offers an inspiring 270-degree panoramic view, doubling as a media room with a sizeable 105" TV. This space is a testament to natural materials and textures, featuring rattan chairs, a teak root coffee table, and a rope ottoman, crowned by a custom glass pendant light that serves as an ode to the sea.

A particularly challenging aspect of the design process was the selection and installation of marble. The owners' experience in real estate and design shone through, as they navigated decisions on marble veining and aesthetics, culminating in an installation that is nothing short of exceptional.

Accommodation

Botti gracefully accommodates up to 12 guests across her sophisticated staterooms, each thoughtfully designed to provide the utmost comfort and privacy. The yacht features a generous owner's suite, which is a sanctuary of luxury, showcasing the finest materials and design elements that reflect the owners' personal style and the influence of Palm Beach's architectural heritage. The suite includes a spacious en-suite bathroom, providing a spa-like experience for the owners.

In addition to the master suite, Botti offers multiple guest cabins that are nothing short of exquisite. These cabins are designed to ensure that every guest aboard experiences the same level of luxury and attention to detail. The lavish VIP staterooms and additional guest cabins are all appointed with the finest linens, bespoke furnishings, and state-of-the-art entertainment systems, ensuring a comfortable stay for friends and family.

The crew quarters have been designed with the same dedication to comfort and functionality, ensuring that the professional crew of up to seven can maintain the highest standards of service. Moonen Yachts understands that the crew's well-being is paramount to the smooth operation of the yacht, and their accommodations reflect this commitment.

Performance & Capabilities

At the heart of Botti's performance lies her advanced propulsion system. Equipped with a state-of-the-art engine setup, Botti harnesses the power necessary to navigate with grace and agility. The yacht is propelled by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 12-cylinder 1,925hp engines running at 2100rpm, which enable her to achieve a remarkable top speed of 16.5 knots. This impressive turn of speed is balanced with a cruising pace that ensures comfort and tranquility for all aboard.

The ethos of Moonen craftsmanship is demonstrated in Botti's long-range capabilities. She boasts a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic cruising speed of 10 knots, a testament to her excellent fuel efficiency and the foresight of her builders. Such a considerable range grants her owners the freedom to embark on extensive voyages, exploring the farthest reaches of the oceans without the need for frequent refueling stops.

Botti is fitted with state-of-the-art stabilization technology to ensure that even while cruising at speed or anchored, the comfort of guests remains paramount. The yacht's stabilizing system works to minimize the roll of the vessel, providing a smoother and more enjoyable experience, particularly in rough sea conditions. It's this attention to detail in the yacht's mechanical design that underscores Moonen's commitment to not just the aesthetic, but the lived experience of luxury yachting.

Botti's steel hull construction is a salute to the heritage of robust shipbuilding. The use of High Tensile Steel not only adds to the yacht's strength but also to her overall lightweight efficiency. This choice of material underscores a commitment to durability and performance, ensuring that Botti can gracefully navigate a variety of marine environments with confidence.

Botti reflects a deep understanding of the yachting lifestyle, imbued with the personal touch of her owners and the exemplary standards of Moonen Yachts. Botti is more than a vessel; she is a beacon of elegance, and a celebration of the collaborative spirit that brought her to life.
