Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.9m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 345 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The outdoor areas include a broad sundeck with a covered dining area, bar, optional whirlpool, and a Portuguese bridge-style seating arrangement. The aft platform is extended to 20 square meters and includes hydraulic Z-lift swim stairs for easy water access.
Interior Design
The interior design of the Martinique 08 emphasizes a strong connection with the sea, crafted by Vripack Design. The design employs three main materials, wood, leather, and brass, complemented by a color palette of light taupe, grey, and smoky blue. Furniture features deep walnut tones and polished brass details, creating a warm, mid-century atmosphere.
The main saloon incorporates a bronze mirrored ceiling, reflecting light and adding a sense of space. This design choice is inspired by 17th-century Dutch interiors. The dining room stands out with a mural that takes cues from Delftware porcelain, using hand-sketched and AI-enhanced imagery to depict imagined Dutch landscapes.
The yacht's central staircase connects all three decks, set against glossy turquoise walls. This design element is mirrored in the main deck lobby, which also features bronze accents. The sky lounge serves as a social hub with a bioethanol fireplace surrounded by cream marble, beneath a framed TV used for displaying artworks. The space includes inset cabinets and bi-fold doors that open to the aft deck, offering a residential feel with space for personal items and curated books.
The galley and pantry are top-spec, ensuring a high-quality dining experience.
Accommodation
Martinique 08 offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,925hp engines, motor yacht Martinique 08 is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 35,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
