This was the first yacht built on the Golden Bay Series design.

Exterior Design

Code 8's structure adheres to RINA classification society rules, ensuring not only a visually pleasing form but also a build that meets rigorous safety and performance standards. The practicality of her design is further evidenced by features such as the generous swimming platform which provides easy access to the water, and the voluminous tender garage that houses tenders and water toys.

Following the comprehensive refit in 2016, Code 8 emerged with a renewed façade, including new decks and a full paint job, enhancing her visual appeal. Future enhancements include the installation of a new mast on the sundeck, reflecting Benetti's commitment to continuous improvement and the yacht's up-to-date maintenance.

In terms of illumination, underwater lights have been strategically placed to highlight the yacht's profile at night, creating a visually striking image that complements her straightforward design.

Code 8 showcases a blend of style and practicality, highlighted by its spacious sun deck and jacuzzi, designed for optimal safety and maritime efficiency with modern, elegant interiors.

Interior Design

The interior design of the yacht Code 8 reflects a modern and sophisticated aesthetic, characterized by a blend of high-quality materials and a focus on functional elegance. Throughout the vessel, a neutral color palette is complemented by the use of white oak, soft textiles, and subtle lighting that enhances the contemporary atmosphere without overwhelming the senses.

The main saloon is a spacious area designed for socializing and relaxation. The flooring is finished in white oak, providing a light and airy feel, while a silk carpet adds a touch of softness underfoot. Leather seating is arranged in a U-shape, offering ample space for guests to gather. At the heart of the entertainment center, a large 75-inch Samsung television screen serves as a focal point.

In the dining area, guests can enjoy meals at a sophisticated setting. The space is furnished with a sizeable dining table and comfortable chairs, allowing for formal dinners or casual gatherings. The lighting design ensures a well-lit environment that is both inviting and conducive to dining.

The skylounge offers an alternative area for leisure, featuring two large sofas and coffee tables for casual relaxation. A card table invites playful interaction, while the high-top breakfast table with chairs provides a more informal dining option. A bar equipped with a wine cooler and dual sinks is ideal for serving refreshments.

Within the helm, the emphasis is on functionality and navigational efficiency. The space is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and controls, ensuring safe and effective operation of the yacht. The design is straightforward, with a focus on accessibility and ease of use for the captain and crew.

Accommodation

Accommodation on board Code 8 is designed to comfortably house up to 12 guests within its six staterooms. These living quarters consist of an owner's cabin, a VIP suite situated on the main deck, and four additional cabins located below deck. Each of these four cabins is arranged as two doubles and two twins, allowing for flexibility in guest arrangements. These guest accommodations are all equipped with private en-suite bathroom facilities and entertainment centers for personal leisure and convenience.

The owner's suite, a prominent feature of Code 8's accommodation, offers expansive space and privacy for the primary guests. This cabin includes a dedicated en-suite bathroom, enhancing the comfort and exclusivity of the owner's experience on board.

In addition to guest quarters, Code 8 provides well-appointed accommodation for a crew of up to 10 members. These crew cabins are separate from the guest areas, ensuring both privacy for guests and efficient operation by the crew.

Overall, the interior design of Code 8 reflects a contemporary yet classic aesthetic, utilizing high-quality materials to create an environment that is both welcoming and comfortable for all on board. The staterooms are designed with a light and warm color palette, fostering a tranquil atmosphere that emphasizes relaxation and a sense of being at home while at sea.

Performance & Capabilities

Equipped with twin diesel MTU (12V 396 TE94) engines, each producing 2,253 horsepower, this vessel demonstrates an impressive propulsion capability. These 12-cylinder engines enable Code 8 to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots, while she can effortlessly maintain a cruising speed of 14 knots, ensuring timely passages and a swift journey across the seas.

Code 8's full displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure contribute to her robust maritime prowess, while the teak decks add to the durability and overall aesthetic of the yacht.

For the comfort of those on board, Code 8 is fitted with Naiad stabilizers. These stabilizers play a critical role in minimizing the roll of the yacht, providing a smoother experience while traversing the open waters or resting at anchor.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. Code 8 also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
