Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.25m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Oceano 39 design. Launched in May 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2024.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Fifth Season is defined by its grey hull and superstructure paired with a distinct black boot top. This vessel is part of the Oceano Mangusta series, featuring imposing yet harmonious lines. Its design, a collaboration between yacht designer Alberto Mancini and the Verme studio, prioritizes livability and comfort, and the use of a significant amount of glass. This choice allows reflections of the sea to interact with the yacht's surfaces, creating an engaging visual effect.
The design facilitates a dialogue between interior and exterior spaces. Full-height windows on the main and upper decks, some of which are openable, enhance the sense of continuity between indoor and outdoor areas. This feature ensures a comprehensive connection with the surrounding seascape. The choice of materials further emphasizes this integration, with teak on the ceiling of the internal lounge extending uninterrupted to the external deck. Similarly, the flooring maintains continuity with flush teak across all external decks.
The yacht's flybridge covers an area of 85 square meters, offering both shaded and sunlit spaces. This area is enclosed with glass and features a sun area towards the stern, equipped with sun loungers and a small table. A sofa area under the hard top includes a bar counter with stools, providing a practical space for relaxation.
At the bow, a key feature is an infinity-effect pool with a partially glazed floor, designed to illuminate the owner's suite bathroom. The aft beach area is versatile, with adaptable solutions according to the owner's preferences. A garage accommodates a Williams 505 tender and stores external platform furniture. Additionally, lateral terraces extend over the sea, creating a 180-degree environment for an immersive experience with the ocean.
Interior Design
The main deck opens with a spacious lounge, where the design focuses on clean lines and the subtle interplay between straight and curved forms. Key pieces include Powell sofas from Minotti, offering both comfort and style, and distinguished Archibald armchairs. A hidden TV is seamlessly integrated behind a wooden and rimex fumè wall with a slatted effect. The room also features a custom-made Calacatta marble table, complemented by ceiling mirrors that add depth to the space.
Throughout the yacht, the décor employs calm, neutral tones to highlight the thoughtful selection of furniture and finishes. This approach is evident in the use of Martinica wood and larch marble for the flooring, and the combination of suede and larch marble on the walls, creating an inviting environment.
On the upper deck, a second lounge area continues the theme of transparency and connection with the outdoors. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows that open fully create a patio-like feel, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. The use of teak on the ceiling and floor further enhances this continuity, extending seamlessly from the inside to the exterior decks. The lounge is furnished with Minotti sofas, providing a comfortable setting for relaxation or socializing.
Accommodation
Fifth Season offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. The master cabin benefits from an abundance of natural light due to its big side windows and a large skylight in the bathroom. This space is further enhanced by an additional glass in the dressing room. Access to the master cabin is through a well-equipped office.
For guest accommodation, the lower deck houses four cabins. These include two VIP cabins and two double-bed cabins, each equipped with an additional Pullman bed, ensuring a comfortable and elegant stay.
She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M86) 1,700hp engines, motor yacht Fifth Season is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
