Construction started in late 2018 with the keel laid under the project name 'Venezia'. This was the fifth yacht built on the Oceano 43 design. Launched in October 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2021.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the yacht Halara features a displacement hull configuration, which ensures stability and smooth sailing. The hull is constructed from durable steel and painted in a clean white color, complemented by a white aluminum superstructure. The bow is raked, improving hydrodynamics and providing a sleek profile. The deck is made from high-quality teak, adding a touch of natural elegance and durability. The underwater hull is treated with a black antifoul coating to prevent marine growth and maintain performance.
The aft deck includes ample seating arrangements and a row of bench seating, offering a comfortable space for relaxation. Power doors lead into the main salon, enhancing both accessibility and security. The beach club area at the transom is equipped with gym equipment, a mounted TV, a bar area, and a built-in shower. The transom wall folds back to extend the space, and a passerelle is included for easy boarding.
Moving to the upper decks, the sky lounge features another alfresco dining area and additional bench seating, along with a bar similar to the one in the beach club. The sundeck includes freestanding furniture, a TV that can be concealed, and more alfresco dining options. Wood accents in the ceiling add a touch of sophistication to these areas.
Forward, the foredeck houses a jacuzzi and sun pads, providing a space for leisure and relaxation. The design incorporates a tender garage under the foredeck, keeping the beach club area free for recreational use.
Interior Design
The main salon features large, floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing for ample natural light and providing panoramic views. The interior decor includes thoughtful accent pieces and meticulous detailing, such as the Alcantara material behind leather-wrapped handrails and accent lighting throughout.
The galley is fully equipped with modern appliances and ample cold storage, ensuring that all culinary needs are met efficiently. There is a wine fridge and a dedicated prep space, designed to facilitate the crew's workflow without intruding on guest areas.
The helm is fitted with five large multi-function displays and modern navigation equipment, ensuring smooth and safe voyages. The captain's area includes an office and private cabin, finished to the same high standards as the rest of the yacht.
In the lounges and salons, the design combines comfort with practicality. The main salon's layout includes a formal dining area and a well-placed TV mounted on the wall. The sky lounge offers additional seating and a large TV, with consistent detailing in the walls that matches the overall interior theme.
The use of high-quality materials, such as lacquered wood finishes and accent lighting, enhances the yacht's interior spaces. The design is cohesive, focusing on both aesthetics and functionality, ensuring a pleasurable experience for all on board.
Accommodation
Halara is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests across five guest cabins. Among these, there are two twin cabins that can be converted into queen beds, providing flexible sleeping arrangements to suit different guest needs. Each cabin comes equipped with its own en-suite bathroom.
The owner suite on Halara is a highlight of the yacht’s accommodation. Situated on the main deck, this suite spans the full beam of the yacht and includes a private balcony with double glass doors, which can be opened to enjoy unobstructed sea views. The en-suite bathroom features skylights and a rainfall shower, adding a touch of luxury to the owner’s experience. The owner suite also boasts significant closet space, integrated into the design for a seamless look.
The yacht includes a captain's cabin located behind the helm station, equipped with an office and finished to the same high standards as the guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Halara is equipped with dual MTU 12V2000 engines, delivering 1,448 horsepower each. This power configuration allows Halara to achieve a top speed of 15 knots. For more efficient and leisurely travel, the yacht can cruise comfortably at 11 knots.
One of the standout features of Halara is its impressive range. The yacht can cover up to 4,500 nautical miles, making it well-suited for long-distance journeys without the need for frequent refueling stops. This extended range is a significant advantage for those looking to explore remote destinations.
The yacht's design includes advanced stabilizers, ensuring a smooth and stable experience even in challenging sea conditions. This feature enhances onboard comfort, making Halara a reliable choice for both short trips and extensive voyages.
