- Warm, natural interior
Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 645 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the sixth yacht built in the series. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Lind features a raked bow, offering a streamlined and efficient profile. The deck is constructed from a combination of teak and steel, providing durability and a classic nautical appearance. The hull is painted in light grey, while the superstructure is finished in a clean white, creating a balanced and modern aesthetic. The boot top and antifoul colours are black, ensuring a cohesive and striking look.
The twin staircases leading from the swim platform to the main deck offer easy access. Upon reaching the main deck, guests find banquette seating and coffee tables, which are positioned before the sliding glass doors leading into the main saloon.
The sundeck is designed for functionality and comfort. Curvy raised bulwarks along the mast arch create a shaded and wind-protected area, enclosed by glass doors. This area includes a large pool and sun pads at the front, a bar in the center, and sun loungers at the back, catering to various outdoor relaxation needs. Another notable feature is the open-air cinema.
The bridge deck offers full walk-around side decks. These side decks connect to the Portuguese deck, which wraps around the bridge, and lead to a secondary open-air entertainment area at the rear. The combination of straightforward design elements and practical features ensures that Lind meets the needs of guests for both leisure and navigation.
Interior Design
The interior design of Lind, crafted by Laura Sessa, features a warm and natural color palette. The decor pairs light and dark glossy woods with gray and beige soft furnishings, creating a balanced and inviting atmosphere. Upon entering the main saloon through sliding glass doors, guests will find banquette seating and coffee tables. The central feature is a large, L-shaped sofa, complemented by a forward dining table.
The main saloon provides an elegant yet subdued environment, with materials chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal. The use of glossy woods adds a touch of sophistication, while the gray and beige soft furnishings offer a neutral backdrop that enhances the overall ambiance.
A staircase to starboard leads to other guest areas, maintaining the consistent design language found throughout the yacht. The layout is practical, ensuring easy movement between spaces.
Accommodation
Lind can accommodate up to 10 guests across 5 cabins. These include three double cabins and a single cabin, all located in the aft portion of the lower deck to minimize pitching and ensure a smooth experience at sea.
The owner's suite on Lind is spacious, enhanced by the inclusion of a large study/sitting room, which adds a sophisticated touch. The suite also features a seating area within the bedroom, offering a private space to relax. The bathroom, eschewing the modern trend of his-and-hers en suites, opts for a single large bathroom with a bath positioned under a sizable window, providing stunning views of the sea.
In addition to guest accommodations, Lind provides quarters for a crew of 13, distributed across five cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M70) 16-cylinder 1,408hp engines, motor yacht Lind is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 115,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
