The 82'3" motor yacht Lynn Marie was delivered to her owners in 2023 by British shipyard Princess. Her interior design comes from the drawing boards of Pininfarina, while Olesinski Design is responsible for her naval architecture.
Key Features
- Hydraulic swim platform
- Four guest staterooms
- U-shaped cockpit seating, teak table
- High Gloss Walnut interior
Design & Construction
Designed around a GRP hull and superstructure she features a 19'11" beam and a 5'10" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks.
Exterior Design
At the stern, a hydraulic swim platform offers both functionality and convenience for guests and crew alike. The transom door provides direct access to the crew quarters. Additionally, there is a dedicated storage space for sea bobs or other marine equipment.
Moving into the cockpit, one is greeted by a teak table set in the center of a U-shaped seating arrangement, all sheltered under a sizeable overhang for protection from the elements. For outdoor service, there is a sink, a pull-out refrigerator, and cleverly integrated storage for the sink cover. Docking is made more convenient with an aft docking station and side boarding gates on both port and starboard sides, facilitating ease of access regardless of marina arrangements.
Ascending the stairs from the cockpit, guests will find additional outdoor spaces around the bridge and Sky Lounge designed for leisure and entertainment.
Interior Design
The main salon is appointed with high gloss walnut woodwork, contrasting with lighter upholstery and flooring, creating an elegant yet understated aesthetic. Large windows usher in natural light, enhancing the expansive feel of the living space.
Central to the main salon is an L-shaped seating area, offering a social hub for guests. On the opposite side, a concealed television provides entertainment, with additional storage solutions integrated into the design, such as a wine fridge built into the salon door and drawers for glassware. The overall design prioritizes functionality, with every available space utilized for storage without compromising the clean lines and uncluttered appearance of the yacht's interior.
The dining area in Lynn Marie is a dedicated space, featuring a large table surrounded by an L-shaped bench and additional chairs. The dining area is positioned to benefit from the yacht's large windows, providing diners with an impressive view. Adjacent to this space, a side access door offers a practical point of entry or exit.
The helm on the upper deck is designed with utility in mind, featuring the necessary controls and navigational equipment within easy reach of the captain. The bridge area is enclosed by double pocket doors, which can be closed for privacy or to minimize disturbance from the adjacent Sky Lounge.
Lynn Marie's galley is equipped with high-end appliances, including a Wolf oven, induction cooktop, and Miele dishwasher. The galley also houses a substantial refrigerator and freezer drawers, ensuring ample storage for provisions. A double sink, additional counter space for food preparation, and a powered divider that can isolate the galley from the dining area further enhance the functionality of the space.
Accommodation
Lynn Marie is designed to host up to 10 guests comfortably, featuring five luxurious suites, ensuring privacy and comfort for all aboard.
At the heart of the guest quarters is the full-beam owner's stateroom, located amidships for optimal stability and quietude. This stateroom boasts expansive windows to let in natural light, enhancing the already spacious feel of the room. The owner's suite is not only generous in size but also features a large en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, a heated towel rack, and a rainfall shower, promoting an atmosphere of private indulgence.
The VIP cabin, situated at the forward end of the lower deck, mirrors the opulence of the owner's stateroom with its own distinct charm and includes an en-suite bathroom equipped with luxury fittings such as a heated towel rack and rainfall shower. This suite, like all guest accommodations on Lynn Marie, is finished with high-gloss walnut woodwork, adding to the yacht's cohesive and elegant design.
Additional guest cabins offer flexible sleeping arrangements, with one featuring the option to convert twin single beds into a double bed and another providing a Pullman berth to accommodate an extra guest. Each cabin has its own en-suite facilities.
For the crew, Lynn Marie includes dedicated quarters that can house up to three crew members.
Performance & Capabilities
Lynn Marie is equipped with twin diesel MAN V12-1900 engines, each producing 1,900 horsepower at a running speed of 2300rpm. This powerful engine setup enables Lynn Marie to achieve impressive speeds on the water. The yacht's top speed peaks at an exhilarating 30 knots.
For cruising, the yacht demonstrates versatility in speed and range. At a cruising speed of 20 knots, Lynn Marie offers a range of approximately 500 nautical miles, making it suitable for extended voyages. For those seeking to maximize the yacht's range, reducing the speed to 10 knots can extend the vessel's reach to around 1,300 nautical miles, offering the possibility of long-distance exploration with fewer fuel concerns.
