Delivered in 2019, Seed is a 40.16m motor yacht for sale built by British shipyard Princess. The yacht's refined interiors have been crafted by Bannenberg & Rowell, while her exteriors have been penned by Olesinski Design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.02m beam and a 2.29m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 395 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the eighth yacht built on the Princess 40M design. She was completed at Princess' South Yard yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
Seed features a raked bow that contributes to its sleek and dynamic appearance. The deck is crafted from high-quality teak, providing durability and a classic aesthetic. The hull is painted in a striking dark blue, which contrasts sharply with the white of the superstructure and boot top. Below the waterline, the hull is finished in black, enhancing the yacht's elegant profile.
The sundeck is equipped with a custom-made jacuzzi by Splash-Tec and a BBQ area, offering ample space for relaxation and entertaining. A dumbwaiter provides convenient service to the sundeck. The retractable sundeck roof provides flexibility for sun exposure and weather protection.
Access to the yacht is facilitated by an Opacmare passerelle and a removable gangway made of anodized aluminium and stainless steel, stored in the rescue tender garage. For water activities, the yacht includes two 2018 Seadoo jet skis and a hinge-down bathing platform.
The main deck features two side balconies, enhancing the outdoor living area.
Accommodation
Seed can host a total of eight guests across four well-appointed cabins. Located on the main deck, the full-beam master stateroom provides a spacious retreat for the owner. This suite includes an ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience.
The lower deck features a VIP guest cabin, also equipped with an ensuite bathroom, providing a luxurious space for prominent guests. Additionally, there are two twin cabins on the lower deck. Both twin cabins can be converted into double berths, offering flexible sleeping arrangements to suit the preferences of the guests.
A fifth cabin has been converted into a cinema, providing an additional entertainment option for guests.
Seed is designed to support a professional crew of up to seven members, housed in four crew cabins. This ensures that service is always attentive and discreet.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93L) 3,509hp engines, motor yacht Seed is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 24,435 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,300 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
