Delivered in 1979, Mirage is an award winning 173'11" classic yacht built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while Design Unlimited is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 29'2" beam and a 10'6" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 1978. She was delivered to her owners in October 1979.
Accommodation
Mirage offers accommodation for up to 16 guests in 8 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 4 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (D399TA) 16-cylinder 1,126hp engines, motor yacht Mirage is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 21,451 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Mirage also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
