  • Elevator connects all decks
  • Large sundeck with jacuzzi tub
  • Spacious owner's area with stunning sea views

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 496 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was delivered to her owners in October 2008.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Panakeia is straightforward and practical, featuring a tan hull with red highlights and a white superstructure.  The yacht measures 150 feet in length, making it the largest vessel constructed by the Astondoa shipyard at her launch.

Its design incorporates functional elements that provide both style and utility. The use of teak on the outer surfaces adds a touch of durability and resilience against the marine environment. The yacht's lines are clean and efficient, allowing for optimal space utilization.

The upper deck features freestanding furniture, offering flexibility for owners who wish to personalize their environment. The sundeck is equipped with a well-appointed bar area, complete with refrigeration and ice-making facilities, ensuring convenience for social gatherings.

Interior Design

Designed by the Italian designer Cristiano Gatto, the interior showcases a sophisticated use of high-gloss Macassar, matte zebra wood, and teak, complemented by soft leathers and durable furnishings.

Upon entering through the main sliding doors, guests are welcomed by a bar area featuring a glass top and integrated refrigeration, ideal for serving refreshments. The layout effectively divides the space into distinct areas, with television units that can be raised or lowered to serve different functions.

The galley resembles a professional restaurant kitchen with stainless steel surfaces.  The galley is equipped with a large hob, a spacious oven, and significant storage capacity, including a refrigerated room and a separate freezer, ensuring that all culinary needs are met.

The bridge offers a clear view for both the crew and any guests who wish to observe operations. The dashboard is versatile, with interchangeable screens for monitoring closed-circuit television, radar, wind conditions, and navigational data.

The sky lounge, one of the largest for a yacht of this size, uses the full beam thanks to strategic side deck placement. This area includes a marble bar with wine coolers and ample storage, facilitating easy service of drinks and snacks. The dining area within the sky lounge can be opened to the aft deck or closed off, providing flexibility in use.

Accommodation

Panakeia offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across five well-appointed staterooms. The owner's suite is located on the main deck and is designed with an expansive layout that maximizes the yacht's beam. This suite includes a leather-clad bed, a spacious walk-in closet, and a lavish ensuite bathroom featuring a large tub, a shower, and his-and-hers sink units.

Below deck, the guest accommodations consist of a variety of staterooms. There is a double guest stateroom, complete with a television and ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort. Additionally, there is a twin guest room, notable for its generous space and wide beds, equipped with a touchpad to control climate and entertainment systems.

The yacht also includes a slightly larger guest stateroom, offering lots of storage space, a sizeable chest of drawers, and a large mirror. Each stateroom is designed to provide guests with a comfortable and luxurious experience, with ensuite bathrooms and sufficient wardrobe space.

The crew quarters include several cabins with bunks accommodating nine, a well-equipped mess area for relaxation, and a professional-grade galley to ensure efficient service to the guests. The crew quarters are accessible through dedicated pathways, maintaining privacy for the guests.
