Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 25'2" beam and a 9'9" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 266 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was completed at Sanlorenzo's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in December 2018.

Exterior Design

The yacht's aft deck, accessible via the hydraulic passerelle, is thoughtfully arranged with a row of bench seating complemented by twin tables with stainless steel details. The inclusion of teak accents on the ceiling adds to the refined yet understated atmosphere of this outdoor area. Ascending from the aft deck, guests can enjoy the expansive foredeck, which hosts additional seating arrangements and a dedicated space for sunbathing, complete with an umbrella for shade when desired.

Phoenix's design incorporates innovative features, such as the fold-down transom door, which enhances the yacht's connection with the sea and serves as a versatile platform for various water activities. This engineering feat also suggests the possibility of a beach club setup, further extending the living space to the water's edge.

The side decks of Phoenix lead to a formal entryway on each side, offering convenient access for guests coming aboard. The yacht's exterior also includes a well-equipped bow area with robust cleats and anchor winch systems, indicative of Sanlorenzo's commitment to functionality and safety.

The upper deck, or sky lounge, extends the yacht’s entertaining possibilities with its open layout that can be transformed seamlessly into an alfresco dining experience, courtesy of the glass doors that span the perimeter, inviting an abundance of natural light and fresh air into the space.

Ascending to the sun deck, guests are greeted by a Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads, providing an ideal spot for relaxation with panoramic views of the ocean. The sun deck also features a secondary helm station, offering a superior vantage point for navigation.

Phoenix's interior design prioritizes a modern and unpretentious aesthetic, with careful attention to detail in the choice of materials, color scheme, and lighting, all contributing to a professional and comfortable onboard experience.

Interior Design

The interior of the yacht Phoenix, designed by Marty Lowe, adheres to a contemporary aesthetic with a focus on simplicity and functionality. The color palette is predominantly blue and white, evoking a nautical ambiance while maintaining a modern and clean look throughout the vessel.

Materials such as Alcantara-like soft fabrics are used to create unique textures, noticeable in the owner's suite with its brick-like stitch pattern. The use of stone in the staircase adds a touch of natural elegance without overwhelming the senses. The integration of large windows facilitates abundant natural light, enhancing the interior's airy feel.

The main salon is equipped with a bar area, sizable sofas, and a low coffee table, creating a comfortable space for socializing and relaxation. A large television, discreetly concealed when not in use, adds to the entertainment options available to guests.

The yacht features a spiral staircase that serves as a central design element, connecting the main salon to the bridge deck and guest cabins. It is not only a functional aspect of the yacht's layout but also a visually appealing feature.

Phoenix's dining arrangements are thoughtfully placed on the bridge deck, offering exceptional views through glass doors that can be opened to merge the interior with the exterior space. The formal dining area boasts a beautiful table setup that accommodates guests in a refined setting.

The helm station is positioned for optimal operation with necessary instrumentation and controls. It is paired with an L-shaped seating area and a table for added convenience. The galley is outfitted with high-end Miele appliances and features substantial refrigeration and freezer space. Storage is cleverly integrated into the design to maintain a sleek and uncluttered appearance, consistent with the overall interior design philosophy of the yacht.

Accommodation

Phoenix is designed to accommodate up to 10 guests in a configuration of five staterooms, ensuring a comfortable stay for all aboard. The yacht features a spacious owner's suite situated on the main deck, which includes an en-suite bathroom, a generous closet, and expansive windows to take in the seascape. This suite is characterized by a contemporary design, offering a serene retreat for its occupants.

Below deck, guests will find four additional cabins, comprising two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with the convenience of an en-suite bathroom. The twin cabins are also equipped with an additional Pullman berth, providing flexibility in sleeping arrangements.

To ensure a seamless experience on the water, Phoenix can accommodate up to five crew members who are provided with dedicated quarters. This skilled team is on hand to address the needs of guests, maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.

Performance & Capabilities

Phoenix is propelled by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) engines, each generating a formidable 1,600 horsepower. This robust engineering enables the yacht to achieve a top speed of 17 knots. For extended voyages, Phoenix cruises efficiently at a speed of 11 knots, offering a harmonious blend of performance and comfort.

With a substantial fuel capacity of 25,000 liters, Phoenix boasts an impressive range. At her cruising speed, she can cover a maximum distance of 2,750 nautical miles, allowing for extensive exploration without the frequent need for refueling.

The semi-displacement hull of Phoenix is a significant design choice, contributing to her agility and stability in various sea conditions. This feature, combined with her advanced engineering, ensures that Phoenix delivers a powerful yet smooth yachting experience.
