Design & Construction

Designed with a displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, Quattroelle has a 13.8m beam and a 3.9m draft. Over six decks, this yacht boasts an internal volume of 2,925 GT (Gross Tonnes) and features a helipad in its design.

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. Yacht Quattroelle was delivered to her owners in December 2012.

Exterior Design

The high bow with sugarscoop window shapes and a reverse angle on the stack showcase the pure Italian design. The exterior of Quattroelle is deliberately devoid of unnecessary embellishments, emphasizing the beauty of clean lines and well-executed design.

The superstructure details are artistically created using light and shadows made by overhanging decks and premium stainless steel railings with gleaming cap rails. These subtle design elements draw attention to the changing angles and lend an air of sophistication. The profile of Quattroelle appears deceptively low due to the horizontal bands of dark windows and white superstructure that stretch the horizontal planes, creating an optical illusion.

The yacht's bulwarks are sensibly a bit higher than the current trend, providing a sense of security without compromising on aesthetics. The overhanging side decks are wide, providing ample coverage from the sun and elements. From a distance, the yacht emanates an aura of grandeur and luxury, with its massive stern section descending into the water, making for easy boarding of water toys or swimming.

This floating paradise encapsulates the four 'L's - Love, Life, Liberty, and Luxury - in its design, providing a luxurious and comfortable space to enjoy the warm island weather and endless views.

Interior Design

The interior design of Quattroelle is a masterpiece of elegance and sophistication, brought to life by the creative minds at Nuvolari Lenard. The luxury yacht boasts an astonishing variety of twelve different wood surfaces, each chosen to enhance the unique character of their respective spaces. From a dark gloss walnut anchoring the stair columns to natural teak and pale sycamore on the bridge deck, the diversity of materials contributes to an environment that is both luxurious and welcoming.

Each deck has its own distinctive style, rising from the formality of the main deck to an eclectic spirit on the bridge deck. The main deck features a formal dining room and a library area separated from the main saloon by a half wall and glass partition. This creates a harmonious flow between spaces, offering guests both privacy and sociability.

The interior design of Quattroelle is marked by a recurring free-form line, which appears in various forms throughout the yacht. Carved into wood panels, woven into custom carpets and throw pillows, etched in metal, or pressed into glass panels, this line serves as a visual thread that ties the diverse design features together.

The use of cut leather panels by British artist Helen Amy Murray is another distinctive feature of Quattroelle’s interior. Murray’s innovative technique of slicing the leather to create decorative 3D patterns imparts a playful design into a traditionally heavy and masculine material.

The lighting plan designed by Nuvolari Lenard plays a crucial role in accentuating the intricate details of the interior design. Every single light, from table lamps to wall lamps, spotlights to courtesy lights, has been carefully chosen to create a unique effect that complements the style of each room.

Accommodation

This magnificent vessel can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in its six spacious cabins, each designed with attention to detail to ensure a restful experience.

The centerpiece of Quattroelle's accommodation is the owner's suite, a private retreat that spans the full width of the yacht. This generous space includes a sumptuous master bedroom, two dressing rooms, and twin bathrooms. The suite also boasts a private seating area on the deck, offering 180-degree views of the surrounding seascape.

The yacht's additional five guest cabins are located on the main deck. Each is beautifully furnished and comes with en-suite facilities, ensuring that every guest enjoys a high level of comfort and privacy. The cabin configuration includes three double cabins and two twin cabins, making it ideal for a variety of guest groups.

Quattroelle also offers ample and comfortable accommodation for its crew of 28. The crew resides in well-designed cabins, mirroring the attention to detail found in guest accommodations.  An additional four cabins are available for personal and household staff.

Performance & Capabilities

The power behind this magnificent vessel comes from a pair of polished 'ladies' in the engine room, named Greta and Juliette by Engineer Robert Millar. These engines are twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B -HD DITA SCAC Series II) 2,682hp engines running at 1600rpm.

Quattroelle is powered by these two robust engines, each delivering impressive horsepower. This allows the yacht to reach impressive top speeds, ensuring swift and smooth sailing across the seas. The engines have been meticulously maintained and tuned to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Stability is a crucial aspect of any yacht, and Quattroelle is no exception. The yacht is equipped with advanced stabilizers, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey, even in challenging sea conditions. These stabilizers work to reduce the roll motion effect, providing a more enjoyable experience for those on board.

Leisure & Entertainment

One of the most distinctive features of the Quattroelle is her infinity pool and sunpads on the bridge deck. Double exterior staircases connect the pool deck with the sundeck and gym above, offering an uninterrupted flow of luxury and relaxation. The entire yacht is essentially the ultimate beach club, with all aft decks open and connected by double sets of stairs, redefining the concept of outdoor luxury.

The cinema, located on the main deck, is a popular feature, offering a cosy space for guests to relax and enjoy a movie. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down.  A beautiful library can also be found on board.
